Y/n had no clue where Damian was hiding. With an exaggerated sigh, she glanced around, making sure no one was watching her struggle. She closed her eyes and muttered dramatically:

"Invenire Damian Wayne."

A small golden aura sparked in her palm, forming into a glowing orb. A thin, glowing thread extended from it and wrapped around her finger like some kind of magical GPS. With a flick of her hand to straighten her dress—an unnecessary but stylish move—she followed the thread, which led her right to the study.

"Huh?" she muttered as the orb hovered over a random book on the shelf.

She raised an eyebrow, too lazy to do any heavy lifting, and gave a flick of her fingers. The book slid aside with a whoosh, revealing a hidden button.

"Of course, there's a secret button," she mumbled, pressing it and watching as the entrance to the Batcave dramatically slid open. "So extra."

She descended the stone staircase with the orb still bobbing ahead like an overly helpful Tinkerbell. It led her right to the Batmobile, specifically to the trunk.

"You've got to be kidding me," she whispered with a smirk. "In the trunk? Really?"

"Relinquo," she said, and the orb disappeared. Placing her hands on the trunk with the confidence of someone about to win hide-and-seek for the first time, she began banging on it like a madwoman.

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM.

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM.

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM.

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM.

Finally, there was a loud thud from inside, followed by the trunk popping open. A very annoyed Damian emerged, rubbing his ears like someone who'd just been ambushed by a rock concert.

"My ears..." Damian groaned, trying to brush off imaginary dust.

"Seriously, the trunk? You could've picked anywhere and you chose that?" Y/n teased, grinning widely.

Damian just glared. "It was strategic."

"Sure, 'strategic'," Y/n mocked, offering him a hand. "Anyway, the party's upstairs, Mr. Strategy."

Damian took her hand, grumbling under his breath. As they started walking, Y/n suddenly leaned in and planted a quick kiss on his cheek, causing him to freeze in his tracks and turn as red as a Bat-signal.

"Happy Birthday, Damian," she said sweetly, trying to hold back her laughter.

Damian coughed awkwardly, looking everywhere but at her. "Thanks, Y/n... I guess."
