Deliah always thought that her soulmate was Mia, she thought the two of them were destined to be together. Mia was her first crush, her first person she allowed to get close to her, and also her first time being intimate with someone else. She was obsessed, she truly thought she was in love with her.

Everytime Mia would leave it would tear the poor girl apart, but when Mia came back to play she would get her hopes up everytime. She was constantly holding out hope that she would come back to her. But when Mia stopped coming back, it destroyed the girl and sent her into a spiral.

After their talk in the parking lot, when Deliah found out Mia had broken her doll, she "ended" things with the red head for good. "Mia!" Deliah said sadly, "yup" Mia replied not in the mood for this conversation anymore. "This is over!" She said angrily before stomping off.

Her heart felt like it had shattered into a million pieces, Deliah had no idea what love actually felt like. Truthfully she was jealous of Mia and Charlotte, she could see just how in love the two of them were and all she wanted was her person.

After work that day, she went to the nearby bar to get her mind off of the redhead that destroyed her. When she sat down at the bar the waitress came over to her, "hi there what can I get you?" A sweet voice said. Deliah still hadn't looked up trying to decide what to drink. She finally just decided to ask for a surprise. When she looked up her eyes locked with these beautiful brown eyes.

Deliah gasped suddenly, as butterflies spread through her stomach, something about the girl in front of her entranced her, she felt a magnetic pull towards the girl. "I uh- um, I." She stuttered. Causing the waitress to giggle, "how about I get you something sweet?" She said with a smile, the waitresses blushed slightly as well. "I- ok." Deliah said blushing hard. "I'm Sara by the way." She said before walking off.

Sara. Deliah thought to herself, she'd never seen anyone so beautiful. She wanted to know everything about Sara. She watched as Sara came back with two drinks, Deliah looked at the brunette confused. "My shift is almost over so I thought maybe you could use some company?" Sara said with a small smile. Deliah smiled brightly, "I'd love that." She giggled.

As Sara sat down both girls blushed slightly, completely unsure of how to start a conversation. "I don't believe I've seen you around, and I'd remeber you." Sara said trying to break the ice. "Oh no I'm not from here, I moved here recently for work." Deliah said feeling her nerves disappear, she wasn't sure how a complete stranger could make her feel so safe.

"You seem sad, are you alright...." Sara started realizing she didn't know the brunettes name. "Oh, I'm Deliah." She said. "Well are you alright Deliah? That's a beautiful name." Sara said blushing a bit more.

Deliah smiled brightly, "thank you, I really love your name as well. I'm ok just a bit hurt, there was this girl, she was my first crush back in school, but I realized today she just used me. And I guess I just held out hope she'd change her mind." Deliah said kinda feeling dumb for telling this beautiful stranger about her life.

"Well it's her loss." Sara said protectively. Deliah looked up at her confused, "have you seen yourself, regardless of who this woman is it's her loss. You're absolutely stunning. You deserve someone who wants to treat you right." Sara said. Deep down Sara hoped that could be her someday, she wasn't sure what it was about this girl but she wanted to be around her. Deliah started playing with a spot on the table not fully believing what Sara had just said to her.

Sara watched this and she felt the need to reach her hand out to hold the brunettes. When their hands touch their gaze met, both their eyes went wide, it was like something felt complete, something felt right. Both women were very confused but they stayed like this staring at eachother for awhile before Sara broke the silence.

"Deliah would you like to come back to mine? I'd really like the chance to get to know you." Sara said hopefully. Deliah looked into the brunettes eyes for any sense of dishonesty. When she found none a smile appeared on her face, truthfully she also wanted to get to know her. "I'd like that." Deliah said. They both stood up and Sara reached out to grab Deliahs hand. She wasn't sure what this feeling was but all she wanted to do was protect her with everything she had.

Once they arrived to Sara's she went to the kitchen and pulled out a bottle of wine. She poured two glasses and they went and sat on the couch to talk. The two women spent hours talking about one another, they felt like they knew eachother on a level that neither woman had ever known someone on. It was getting late but neither one wanted to night to end.

"You know Deliah you can stay the night if you'd like. I'd like to know that you're safe." Sara said nervously, Deliah smiled and nodded as they both walked hand in hand to the bedroom, they wanted to constant be touching and neither woman understood why, Sara pulled out some pajamas for the brunette, "if you'd like to you can change in the bathroom, there's fresh toothbrushes under the sink, and anything else that you need just let me know." Sara smiled, she grabbed pajamas for herself and grabbed her pillow and a blanket.

Deliah watched this in confusion, "what are you doing?" She asked nervously. "Oh well I want you to be able to sleep on the bed I was just going to sleep on the couch." Sara said innocently, "will you stay?" Deliah asked. Sara smiled and nodded.

The two girls got ready for bed before crawling under the covers. Deliah felt this need to cuddle into the brunette and without asking curled herself into her. Sara smiled and wrapped her arms protectively around the girl.

It was in that moment that it hit them both.

This is what it feels like to find your soulmate.
