Siobhan missed Vivian so much she wished she could've plucked up the courage to tell her what was going on. Truthfully she also wanted to tell her how she truly felt. But she couldn't seem to find the words. Today was like no other day Siobhan was covering for Marjorie who was at home hungover after a night out celebrating her promotion.Siobhan was just signing off on some paperwork when the delivery driver came in to give the blonde the delivery receipt. "Ah hello Siobhan." The cheery man said, "Glenn" she said reaching her hand out to take the papers. "I hear Marjorie is out hungover? That's why I only hire men. Women are far too emotional for me." Siobhan raised an eyebrow at the older man. She couldn't believe what she was hearing what were they back in the 70's?
The pair proceeded to have a conversation, Siobhan essentially telling Glenn he must be into men for shitting on women so hard. Little did she know that Vivian was on the other side of the door laughing at the way siobhan was handling Glenn. Viv decided to embarrass the man further by stepping inside.
"Hello Glenn you alright?" Vivian said. Siobhan's eyes opened wide as she stared at Vivian, she missed her voice so much. The pair had essentially avoided each other for 3 weeks ever since Vivian found out about the ring. "I'm alright how are you Vivian?" Glenn said with a half smile, "you two know each other?" Siobhan said confused, Vivian's heart skipped a beat. She hadn't heard the blondes voice in weeks and truthfully it was music to her ears.
Vivian knew Siobhan wasn't safe at Rodger's and she knew that Siobhan didn't want to marry Rodger. Well... at least she hopped she was right about that. But she also knew that unless Siobhan came to her for help she wouldn't never accept the help.
Vivian smiled and nodded looking toward the blonde. She proceeded to tell Siobhan all about the time Glenn burst the blood vessels under his eyes from crying so hard for missing a football match. This made Siobhan chuckle quietly, to anyone else you would've missed it but Vivian caught it and smiled as she stared at the blonde.
Glenn walked out embarrassed and Vivian was lost in her gaze. Siobhan's eyes met Vivian's and her heart exploded, she missed the dark haired woman so much. As the smiled at one another Vivian pulled herself from her gaze and frowned remembering Siobhan was engaged. "Well I should go." She said as she turned to leave. "You have to run off?" Siobhan said quietly reaching her hand out slightly towards Vivian. "Um yea I've made a lovely new friend and we're meeting for coffee this morning, I met her at the bar last night she works there." Vivian said with a half smile.
Siobhan's heart felt like it shattered. She knew exactly who Vivian was talking about. "Sara..." Siobhan spit out with pure jealousy. "Yea do you know her?" Vivian asked curiously. "I've heard of her... enjoy your coffee." Siobhan said as she rolled her eyes, she couldn't believe Vivian would go on a coffee date with someone else, that was their thing. She quickly picked up her phone and pretended to dial Rodger's number. "Bon... I..." she was cut off by Siobhan, "Rodger can you pick up a bottle of wine on your way home?" Siobhan said making sure to shove her giant ring in Vivian's direction as she turned away from her.
Vivian rolled her eyes when she heard his name and turned and left quickly. Siobhan watched her leave before setting down her phone as tears began to fall. The blonde ran off to the staff bathroom so no one would see her in this state. She had no idea why she was crying, Vivian technically wasn't even hers to begin with.
Vivian made her way into the coffee shop her new friend patiently waiting for her. "Hi Viv!" Sara greeted, Vivian smiled as sat across from her. "Hey Sara." She said kindly, "so what did you want to meet about?" Sara asked confused. "I think I just need some advice. Remember that woman I told you about last night?" Vivian asked looking down at her coffee cup. "Siobhan right?" Sara asked, Sara knew Siobhan pretty well, well she knew her reputation at least.
"Yes Siobhan..... what do I do Sara? I don't want to be away from her. I know she isn't safe. I can tell she doesn't love him. I love her already and we only just met. I've never felt this way before not even with my ex wife." Vivian said trying not to get choked up. "Does she know that?" Sara asked with a huge smile on her face. "Know what?" Vivian asked unaware that she told the brunette that she loves Siobhan.
"Viv... you haven't told her how you feel? How is she supposed to know? She can't read your mind." Sara said with a giggle. "Yea well she probably won't even talk to me anymore... I accidentally mentioned our coffee meeting today and I think she thinks we're on a date." Vivian said as she winced. "Viv.... Go get your girl." Sara said as she laid her hand on Vivian's. Vivian nodded before standing and driving towards the nursery. She planned to wait there till Siobhan leaves, plus she'll get to annoy the neighbor all day which was always a bonus.
As the end of the work day approached Siobhan packed her things and walked towards the car. Vivian's mom had picked up Jamie that day which Siobhan was relieved about. She didn't think she could handle running into her again. As she walked towards her car she noticed an all too familiar red car a few spots away. She saw Vivian stood there waiting.
Siobhan tried to quickly make her way to her car before she was stopped, "bon-bon talk to me please." Vivian begged. "I have nothing to say to you. Go talk to your new girlfriend." Siobhan spit opening her passenger door and putting her things in the car. Vivian shook her head confused "my what?" She said. Siobhan just rolled her eyes, "your little date." Siobhan said you could hear the jealousy in her tone.
"It wasn't a date." Vivian said slightly harsher than intended. Siobhan stopped at the tone of her words. She just stared at the older woman unsure of what to say. "Bon-bon she is seriously just a friend ok. She and I met to talk about you." Vivian admitted her face going red as she said those words.
"Me?" Siobhan said in her normal cold tone. "Yes Siobhan you. I have feelings for you. I have since the moment I met you, but you're with mr persistent and engaged so it's unfair of me to have those feelings." Vivian said looking down towards the ground.
Siobhan went quiet, he heart was bursting at the seems at the idea of Vivian feeling the same way. She didn't know what to say and couldn't seem to form any words. Vivian looked up at the speechless blonde, they just stared at one another until Siobhan whispered, "help me." If Vivian wasn't listening she would've missed it.
Vivian stepped forward and pulled the blonde in for a hug, the moment Vivian's arms wrapped around the blonde Siobhan bursted into tears. She finally felt safe, it was a very rare thing for her. "I don't love him, I'm stuck I don't want to get married to him, he hurts me Viv, I don't know what to do. Without him I'm nothing." Siobhan said through sobs.
Vivian held her close "shhhh darling it's ok I'm here." Vivian whispered as she held the blonde tightly.
Once Siobhan calmed down she backed up slightly looking into Vivian's eyes, her gaze travelled down to her lips before she pulled the ring off her finger and threw it into the parking lot. Vivian watched as she did this and smiled brightly. They just stared at one another afraid to make the first move. "Viv kiss me." Siobhan whispered.
Vivian cupped Siobhan's face and pulled her into a passionate kiss. The moment their lips met electricity flew through them. They had found their soulmate and they were never letting them go ever again. "I love you Viv." Siobhan said after pulling away and staring at Vivian's blue eyes.
Vivian smiled and kissed her forehead, "I love you bon-bon."
