Mia and Charlotte have now been together for 6 months. They have done their best to take care of their relationship as Mia travels globally in search for her father. The separation is getting harder and harder for the couple but neither one has mentioned it to eachother.

Charlotte is roaming around her house aimlessly, her girls with their father. She decides to sit down to watch a movie when her phone rings. She looks down and sees Mia's name and smiles before answering. "Hey you" she says happily. "Hi sweetheart how are you?" Mia says in response just so happy to be hearing her voice.

"I'm ok." Charlotte said honestly. She didn't want to worry the red head however, she was getting tired of all this traveling. "Baby what's wrong?" Mia asked nervously. "Nothing really, I'm fine. How was your day?" Char asked trying to change the subject. "Char." Mia said more seriously. "What's going on?"

"I just miss you Mia. I want you to find your father I really do but this distance is really starting to get to me." Charlotte said finally verbalizing how she was feeling. Mia sighed she felt the same, but she also knew her younger self wanted so badly to see her father's face one more time. "I know baby it's getting to me to." Mia said sadly.

"Then come home Mia... I just want you home." Char begged, tears forming in her eyes. "Char... I want that more than anything but..." she was cut off by Charlotte. "But you need to find your day I know." Charlotte said flatly. "Char... you're not upset are you?" Mia asked confused. Charlotte just scoffed, "yes Mia I'm upset I miss you and honestly sometimes it feels like this search is more important to you than our relationship."

Mia was taken back by her response. "Char..." Mia said hurt. "No mia I'm serious ok. I miss you. Figure out where your priorities are and let me know. I love you. Goodbye." Charlotte said. "I love you too..." Mia whispered before Charlotte hung up the phone.

Tears formed in Mia's eyes as she curled up on her bed and thought about her brunette girlfriend back home. This wasn't their first fight but definitely one of the more heated ones and it scared Mia. The last thing she wanted to do was lose Charlotte. To her Charlotte was like coming up for fresh air. She felt like she could breathe around her.

After Charlotte hung up the phone she started to sob on the couch. She hated being home alone, she hated the silence, and more importantly she hated fighting with Mia. Mia was her light at the end of the tunnel, Mia stayed when no one else did.

Mia decided right then she needed to go home and make this right. She started packing and headed straight to the airport to get home. She needed to save this before it got worse. She was willing to do anything.

Charlotte went up and took a long shower before getting in her comfiest pajamas and curling up in bed holding a pillow she had put mias shirt over. She fell asleep quickly dreaming of her redhead.

Mia hopped on the plane knowing this was going to be the longest 12 hours of her life. She just hoped she'd be able to fix everything.

Charlotte woke up the next morning still feeling the effects of the fight the night before. She got ready for work before leaving a bit early to get herself 2 coffees as well as one for Marjorie and one for Autumn. Once she arrived at the nursery she dropped off the coffees in the office. Before she could turn and leave Marjorie caught her mood shift. "Char my love you alright?" Marjorie asked worried.

"I'm fine Mia and I just got in a small fight it's nothing really." Charlotte said half smiling at her friend before heading to the baby room. Her whole shift felt like it took a lifetime. By the time the last child left Charlotte was drained. She cleaned the tables and the room quickly before grabbing her bag and heading out the door. When she made it outside she stopped in her tracks when an all too familiar redhead caught her eye holding a giant bouquet of black roses.

"Mia?" She whispered. A smile growing on her face. She walked closer before stuttering, "w-what... h-how..... y-you..... h-how are you here?" Charlotte said tears forming in her eyes. She didn't realize just how much she missed Mia till she was standing in front of her. Mia laid the flowers down on her car before bringing Charlotte into a tight hug.

"You're right sweetheart. I'm sorry for causing strain on us. I'm home now." Mia said hoping Charlotte would pick up what she meant but she didn't. "Mia I'm so glad you're home. And it's the weekend too I'll get so much time with you before you leave again." Charlotte said squeezing her girlfriend tightly.

"No char. I'm home." Mia said again trying to get her to understand. Charlotte looked up at her and giggled, "I know you're home silly. How long are you home for?" Charlotte asked with a smile. Mia smiled at her clueless girlfriend, "char. I'm home" she said again making eye contact with the brunette.

Chars face went from smiling to confusion. From confusion to shock. And shock to excitement. The smile that showed up on the brunettes face could light a whole town. She quickly wrapped her arms around the red heads neck kissing her deeply. "You're home?" Charlotte asked for confirmation. I nodded and said "I'm home baby."

Mia and Charlotte made their way home. The car ride full of chatter, they talked about Mia moving in with Char and both couldn't have been more exciting. Once they made it home and inside Charlotte was immediately grabbing at Mia's top trying to pull it off. Mia giggled, "someone is needy today huh?" Mia asked. "Mia shut up I need you." Char said desperately.

Mia quickly drug her upstairs and gently pushed her down on the bed connecting their lips. Both women fighting for dominance. Mia pulled off charlottes top quickly followed by her bra. She quickly discarded the same clothing on herself. She slowly trailed kisses down her girlfriends neck taking extra time with each breast. "Char stand up I have an idea." Mia said as she took off her bottoms. The brunette listened and smiled. Mia laid herself down in the center of the bed before gesturing to her face. "Have a seat sweetheart." Mia smirked. Char's eyes widened as she straddled Mia's face.

Mia grabbed on to her hips and pulled her down immediately letting her tongue wander through her folds. Her pace quick and slowly getting quicker. Char sat up and made eye contact with the red head. "What?" She asked unsure she heard her correctly. "Marry me" Mia said again more seriously. A huge grin formed on charlottes face before she leaned in and kissed Mia deeply.

"Yes" she said through tears. The two couldn't have been more happy.
