As their shift came to a close Marjorie slowly started to pack up her things. Autumn waited patiently for her she could tell the brunette woman was nervous. "Marjorie it's going to be ok." Autumn said calmly doing her best to reassure her. "I-I know I just.... Reece is like my best friend, and I don't want our friendship to end up like his and mias..." Marjorie said sadly. Reece and the red head were slowly building back their friendship but nothing could compare to what they had before prom night.

"Marjorie I promise you, he won't see you the way he does Mia. It's going to be ok. If anything he'll be more protective of me when you tell him." Autumn said rolling her eyes. Her brother always protected her. It didn't matter how old they were he'd always protect his little sister.

Marjorie nodded and stood awkwardly in the middle of the office she knew Autumn wasn't one for physical touch and would never do anything to overstep that boundary. She took a shakey breath as her nerves hit her. Autumn took notice and half smiled, yes she hated physical touch but once thing she learned was that she loved hugging Marjorie. After her miscarriage the hug she got from the brunette changed her life. Winter couldn't handle the stress and the sadness and left. Autumn would never judge him for that. Everyone copes differently.

Marjorie never left her side she helped her heal not only from her loss but her breakup. The brunette took a breath and walked over to Marjorie, she opens her arms telling her to come to her. Marjorie's eyes widened as she wrapped Autumn in a tight hug. Autumn wrapped her arms protectively around Marjorie. She wouldn't let anything happen to her. Autumn kissed Marjorie's forehead gently. Helping calm the woman she's loved for so long.

The couple left the nursery locking up behind them. Autumn chose to drive they agreed to leave Marjorie's car there since Autumn could bring her in the next morning. Marjorie called Reece letting him know her and Autumn were stopping by. The couple made their way to Reece's door both taking a deep breath before knocking. "Hey gorgeous, hey aut everything ok?" The blonde asked nervously. "Reece can we talk to you for a moment?" Marjorie said nervously.

The blonde let them in and the three walked to the lounge. The two women sat opposite of Reece and Marjorie looked down. "Reece you know I love you right?" Marjorie started, reeces heart quickened that never meant something good was following. "Marjorie what's going on you're freaking me out." He said nervously.

Marjorie felt tears pool in her eyes. Autumn noticed this and placed her hand on Marjorie's lower back and the other on her legs for comfort. Reece watched this act fully shocked by the idea that his sister was being physically affectionate towards someone.

Then it hit him.....

His eyes softened, he nodded to himself looking down as he felt his own tears start to pool. "How long have you known?" The blonde asked looking up to Marjorie as a single tear fell from his face. Marjorie noticed this and broke down. "I'm sorry Reece, I'm so sorry, you're my best friend I love you so much I just don't love you in that way." Marjorie said through her sobs.

Hearing this broke Reece and Autumn's hearts. They both looked to each other worried about the brunette before the blonde knelt down in front of her grabbing her hands. "Marjorie hey look at me." Reece said sniffling. Marjorie looked up at him and saw his glassy eyes, "Marjorie I love you, from the moment I met you I knew we'd be best friends. I want you to be happy, your happiness means so much more to me than anything else in this world." Reece said truthfully squeezing her hands for reassurance.

He glanced at his sister watching as she stared at the brunette love and protection showing in her eyes as she comforted her. "I don't want to lose my best friend. But I understand if you never want to speak to me again." Marjorie whispered causing Reece to look at her once more. "There's nothing you could possibly do to lose me Marjorie. We're still going to star gaze and take care of Carly, we can still do lunches together when you're free. Grab coffee, nothing will change ok?" Reece said before adding, "unless you break my little sisters heart. That's the only thing that would hurt me." He finished being dead serious as he looked into autumns eyes. She half smiled at her brother silently saying thank you. Thank you for protecting her and thank you for being so gentle with the love of her life.
