A/N:"this is when they talk"
'this is when they think'

A few days since the Summit Meeting had passed and things were already a mess.

Daniel had long joined the Workers and was slowly pushing us away.

Zack started being more and more worried about him since his first encounter with the Workers that day.

And in the end I was left alone once more to ponder on my own thoughts.

Today truly was a beautiful day.

The clear blue sky with only a few clouds in the horizon.

It truly made me relish in the fact there were still some small things that made me happy no matter what.

As I continued walking without a place in mind my stomach growled in protest.

The feeling of hunger making itself known, almost taking over my body.

'I should probably get something to eat before I completely starve myself.'

I continued walking until I found a convenience store in sight.

As soon as I walked in the small bell in front of the door signaled my arrival.

The cashier greeted me with a smile in which I nodded my head in acknowledgment to him.

Making my way through the snacks aisle I browsed through the various snacks which were displayed on the shelves.

In the end I decided on some chocolate flavored pocky and strawberry milk.

'It's not much but it will work for now.'

I think to myself walking back to the cashier only to see a small line forming.

With a sigh escaping my lips I also stand in line taking out my phone mindlessly scrolling to pass the time.

After a few more minutes the bell rang again indicating someone else had entered the store but I paid no mind to it.

As the person that was in front of me finished with their checkout I made a move to go forward and scan my stuff only to be stopped by someone who cut of in front of me.

Annoyed I looked up from my phone as the stranger in front of me had the audacity to cut in line like that.

"I'm sorry but I was here first."

I say with an annoyed tone as the guy in front of me let out an irritated sigh.

"Calm down I'll be done in a sec."

He says turning around to look at me over his shoulder with an annoyed expression only to change into a grin.

'And when I thought I'd be having a peaceful day.'

I kept on cursing myself as I stared at Gun who shook his head with a smile and turned to the cashier.

"Scan her things too. I'll pay for them."

"No you won't."

I say already annoyed that I had to see him.

"Don't be so difficult."

"You don't have to pay for my things."

"I said to scan her things."

He says turning to the cashier completely ignoring me.

"Don't you dare."

I said to the cashier making him stop in his tracks as I threatened him.

So now the cashier was caught up in the middle of our argument going back and forth.
