Chapter 24

Cody is sitting on the floor drawing. Alastor is laying down next to him. Angel is coloring with him. Lucifer walks up to them. "Hi guys hi b- baby?" Alastor is curled up his eyes closed. "I think Papa fell asleep. He was lying on his stomach with us then he closed his eyes!" Lucifer sits next to him. "Baby?" Alastors tail moves a little. "Baaaaby." He pets him.

Alastor tail starts to wag. Angel covers his mouth and takes a video. "Baby wake up." Alastor stretches and looks after him smiling. "Hi baby." "Hello Love." He sits up yawning. "I didn't realize i fell asleep." He chuckles softly but then he sees Angel taking a video of him.

Suddenly his phone gets hot. "Ah fuck!" He drops it and the video gets deleted. "Hey!!" "Do not film me." His eyes turn to dials. "This face was made for radio." "Okay okay im sorry..!" Lucifer chuckles. "Oh you're being dramatic" He fixes Alastors hair then rubs his nose with Alastors. Alastor immediately becomes very happy again. "Come on lets make some food for everyone yeah?" "Okay." Lucifer helps him stand.

Alastor stretches as he walks. "What should we make? Something new?" "I was thinking a stew or ma-" Angel runs in. "Hey!" "What Angel?" He grabs Alastor by the collar and gets in his face. "What are you doing!? Let go of me!" "Angel!?" "I just realized what that stupid saying of yours means!" "Which one!!?" "The this face was made for radio shit! You are not ugly!" "Thats why you're upset?! Because i called myself ugly!?" "Duh you fucking idiot! You are not ugly!" "Okay okay!" "Angel stop!" Lucifer runs to them

Alastor pushes him away. "Let go of me!" "Admit it!" "Okay im not now let me g-" Angel loses his grip Alastor wasnt expecting the sudden let go because he was ready. He falls back and hits the counter, the flour that was left out dumps all over him and it gets on Lucifer since hes so close. He now on the ground covered in flour. Alastor rubs his back wincing "i hit the counter with my back.." "Ah!! I inhaled it!" Lucifer coughs. Alastor growls. Angel runs away panicking.

They look at eachother and laugh as Lucifer helps him stand. "Its everywhere!" Lucifer gets an idea and lays on his back on the floor. Alastor does the same and they make flour angels. Cody runs in. "I wanna do that!" "Then come on!" Cody gets in the flour and plays with them in it. They are all completely covered in flour but that couldn't care less.

They are sitting on the floor laughing. Cody puts flour down Alastors shirt. "Ah!" Cody falls over laughing. "You goofy boy!" He grabs him and hugs him tight. Cody laughs so hard he has to stop to take a deep breath.

Alastor sets him down. "Well before we get cleaned up we should get as much flower off of us as we can. Ready to learn how to shake?" "Shake?" "Mhm you're part deer my boy we can shake to get stuff off our fur. Watch." Alastor shakes his body getting alot of the flour off of him. "Whoa!" Cody tries but fails. "Awe.." "try again you got it!" He tried again and gets it. "Yay!" Alastor and Lucifer cheer for him.

Cody smiles proud. "Okay! Bath time!" Lucifer picks him up. Alastor snaps and a group of shadows appear. "Can you please clean the flour up for us?" They nod. "Thank you." They leave together. "Alright Cody it's probably best you take a shower do you want help?" "No i got it!" They get the shower ready for him and wait while he takes a shower.

Alastor walks over to his desk and grabs his notebook. He writes in it. "Baby are you okay?" "Yes! I want to write down ideas i have for my vows." "Aweee! Oh yeah we need to actually plan the wedding dont we?" "I figured it was be a everyone in the hotel thats it. We get married celebrate then we go somewhere for our honeymoon." "I mean, honestly yeah. We need to pick a date. And what colors we want. Oh and what food." "How about after our shower we sit down and do that?" "Yeah!"

Cody yells for them so they can hear him but he is calm. "Papa Daddy i need help!" They walk in. "whats wrong Bubba?" "i cant reach my soap." "oh i got it bud!" Lucifer grabs it for him. "Thank you!" They walk back out. When Cody is done he leaves the water on so the can just get in. Lucifer gets in first them Alastor. He quickly gets out "Ah! that's boiling!" Lucifer is unfazed. "its not that bad." Alastor shows his arm and its bright red. "yeah it is!" "oh shit, i forgot you cant handle hot water like us im sorry here." He turns it down, Alastor slowly gets back in. "Better?" "yeah thats a lot better." "Good." lucifer helps him wash it out of his fur. "oh man your fur still has so much in it."
