(For this headcannon/oneshot, Jude and Cardan have a daughter called Scarlett)

"Dear, why are your clothes all muddy?" Jude asks Scarlett as she runs into the room making the floor muddy.

"Dad let me play in the mud after sword practice!" Scarlett exclaims, her hands clasped together in front of her.

Scarlett had Jude's more-straight-than-wavy hair but Cardan's black hair colour and onyx eyes, she also inherited Cardan's tail, which was more adorable than weird.

"Oh, did he now?" Asks Jude, the smile audible in her voice.

"Yes, I did." Says Cardan, smirking. His eyes go to his daughter and his expression immediately softens, his smirk turning into a loving smile.

**That night, during dinner**

"Mum? Dad?" Scarlett asks, with a glint of mischief and excitement in her eyes.

"Yes, dear?" Asks Cardan, putting down his utensils to fully turn his attention towards his daughter, as does Jude.

"You know my friend, Andrea?" She asks

"Yes, darling. What about her?" Jude asks, now picking up her glass of wine.

"And that she has a baby brother?" She asks, her high-pitched voice bow sounding very excited.

"Yes..." Jude says, the uncertainty present in her voice.

"I want one, too!" Scarlett exclaims, throwing her arms up in the air.

The corners of Cardan's lips twitch up into a smirk, and Jude momentarily chokes on her wine.

"Sure, darling. But it could be a sister, too. We don't know for sure, but you'll get a sibling. Whether it's going to be a boy or a girl." Cardan says with a smirk that breaks more and more into a mischevious grinwith each word.

"Promise, dad?"

"I promise."

"Mum? Do you promise?"

"Uhm, sweetie-" Jude stammers, but is cut off by Cardan.

"Scar, why don't you go and look for a stork who can deliver the baby?" Cardan asks Scarlett.

Scarlett's smile breaks into a grin and she runs off to her bedroom, yelling, "Stork! Storkie! Storkie!...", her voice trails off as she gets farther and farther from her parents.

Cardan gets up from the table and orders his servants to clean up the table, once they're done, he picks up Jude bridal-style and carries her to their bedroom.

"Cardan, do you realize what you just promised our daught-" Jude exclaims, but once again, is cut off by Cardan.

"Yes, darling. Trust me, I know all too well what i just promised our daughter." He says with a smirk as he reaches their bed.

He locks the door behind him, and sets Jude down onto the bed and gets on top of her, his hands on either side of her body. He then positions himself so that his hips are straddling hers.

"Darling, wha-" Jude is once again cut off as Cardan clashes his lips against hers.
