Chapter 34
Walking into school, I could feel the packet in my pocket ...
I had a burning desire you use this as quick as possible.
" if this works..." I muttered to myself. If this does work she'll shit her brains out.
" but.." I murmured into my own thought. If it doesn't it will have no effect.
The day went as usual.
I talked to Connie and Eve , they were proud of me for not punching her.
Little did they know ...
Third period came around , that was time for our double tech.
A chocolate cake of disaster was going to be made!
We worked independently, talking amongst groups. I watched Noodle nearly kill himself with a cup of flour... spilling it everywhere and have to clean it up.
That was when Amelia went over and watched him clean it up, she didn't help obviously.
Then I snuck over to her bench, casually mind you, but everyone was too focused on Noodle playing maid. I imagined the Austin Powers theme in my mind, this was nowhere near as comical but ... it was happening.
I pulled the packet out and tore the top of it , she only had sugar and flour in her bowl , so the powder blended in.
Perfect! I thought.
I shook the entire packet in , then pulled out the next and did the same.
I watched my back as often as I could; everyone was pretty well distracted or not paying attention to me. Except that one boy... Felix.
He gave me a confused look as I emptied the second packet.
I then proceeded to approach him in the most awkward fashion.
We had been friends since year 7 , he didn't ignore me in class so he was at least decent.
This kid was exceptionally tall for his age, and standing next to me was also an asset to his height. Felix had short kinda spikey brown hair and pale skin. He was into rock music and IST. He seemed vaguely interested in my sketches too.
" Nazz, what was that?" he asked suspiciously.
" nothing" I lied, " don't worry about it" , I leaned on the bench.
" is she going to be high after eating that cake" he asked, half smiling.
" cake, it's more of a cupcake... But she'll shit her brains out" I smiled. I knew I could trust Felix, he didn't like Amelia anyway, in our brief conversations he had mentioned that extensively.
" laxatives?" he raised an eyebrow, leaning over the bench to become fairly close to my face.
" you know it" I grinned, we were almost whispering. The rest of the kitchen had gone back to normal, people were moving around grabbing ingredients.
" smart" he said, and we looked over at her bench and she was mixing in everything in her bowl, cocoa , milk, eggs everything!
" too late to stop it now I guess" he smiled, and kept working.
I merged off to my bench and eventually finished my cake, that was practically a muffiny-cupcake... but still it tasted nice.
For me anyways...
