The next day.

The morning went well and I meet up with Cherry before the activity. She was in a chatty mood and the instructors were running late.

I decided to tell her what had happened.

" that was IT!" she said griping my shoulders violently, " you didn't go any further!?"

" no... I erm... kinda froze and went to have a shower" I said meekly, " I was probably blushing like hell and ... I don't really know how to go any further"

" wow, you got some action and you just threw it away!" she shook me.

" yeah well some one coulda saw!" I protested.

" and then you could have 'claimed' him!"

" oh... well I'm stupid!" I stated.

" damn right! I swear you need an ear piece!" she spat, sitting back from me.

" yeah probably" I looked down disappointed , " what about you and Viny?"

" haha that weirdo!" she laughed and looked around. " he got too clingy you know!"

" erm... sure, I'd be happy just to get someone" I mumbled.

" yeah, but I kinda friend zoned him in a way" she said proudly, " so did he , but we fine" she smiled.

" so it's all sorted , your still friends? How far did you go?"

" how far? We kissed like once or twice but that's about it" she smiled, " he was horrible!"

I laughed, " really now! So who's next on your list?"

" hmmm maybe some hot year 12!" she laughed as we moved off to our activity. Viny and Noodle were throwing a handball back and forth over our heads laughing.

" haha wow... Cherry knows what she want's then" I laugh.

" yep! I deserve better than these fools!" she grins, her hair bouncing around her shoulders.

" rightio" I smile, as we walk down a track to the beach where we're supposed to be walking along.

" you know, your pathetic" she grinned, " falling for him"

" yeah, I mean if this were a book we'd be more interesting" I said looking at Noodle ahead of me.

"HAHA if this were a book it would be a pathetic one! It would be you crying over him the whole time!" she laughed.

We came to the end of the track that led us to the beach , it was quicker than going to the archery targets that's for sure!

"urghhhhh SUN!" she groaned and put on her hipster hat.

" yeah, it would be pretty pathetic" I trailed off.

It took us at least half an hour to get to a safe point on the beach in which we could swim instead of walking the rest of the beach... which seemed appealing.

We put our bags down and the boys stopped throwing around their hand ball over our heads.

I saw Cherry take off her shirt to reveal her swim suit... she looked really great... she was wearing a tight black bikini that flattered her features. Her small waist and skinny body.

I looked around to see the boys put their bags down a couple of meters away from us. They stripped of their shirts and ran into the water in their boardies.

Damn it ... this is always so annoying.

" what? Come on lets go into the water!" Cherry shrugs to me. I slowly take of my shirt. To be honest , after the swimming carnival...

..." you know , the red your wearing there isn't flattering you" she said...

I looked down at my shadow, it was an at an odd angle... was I really that bi-

" hurry up! I'll go without you!" said Cherry , I stared down at my feet.

" yeah , go , Viny is probably waiting anyways" I mumbled.

" go put your tampon in then!" she huffed and slapped me on the arm and walked off down to the shore.

..." no guessing, you don't. I mean, your body says it all" she said...

GET OVER IT !

A voice screamed in my head. This one was encouraging... but there was other voices over powering that one...

..." curvy could be one way of describing you" she said...

"SHUT UP !" I hissed to myself, and took off my pants. I was still wearing the same swimsuit as earlier this year , I really didn't care...

I think I should just stop caring all together... maybe I've come so far that I don't need to care anymore... could I give up and just keep plodding along.

I looked over to the shore, the blue ocean seemed inviting... but who knows what's lurking in there...

The vast expanse was grumbling and rumbling at me. Angry waves crashed into each other, like white horse's sprinting to the end of a race! I could feel the oceans greed for my soul... or at least that's what I thought , I mean I could just be high!

I walked down, Viny and Noodle were shoving each other around in the water. Splashing and making a mess, Cherry stood back and had her arms folded.

" urghhh it's so COLD!!!" she whined. It was hardly windy, thank god , but the water was icy!!!

" j, j , jeeeezzzz" I stammered, I was shivering , goose bumps were appearing all over my skin.

" haha you cant even talk haha!" she splashed me a little with her foot.

" S, S , STOP!" I jumped back.

I looked over my shoulder and was pleasantly scared shitless! Noodle and Viny were racing towards us like footballers do for a ball. Noodle grinned at me.

" Nazz get in the water!!!" he shouted .

" NO! ITS TOO COLD!!!" I screamed at him.

The look on his face was hungry ... the next thing I knew I was in his arms above the water !

I gripped his shoulders tightly...
