Chapter 51

Felix's bus was crowded... it as a quiet person's dream and nightmare.

You weren't noticed... but you were surrounded by people ...

I didn't even get to sit next to him, I just need to get off at his stop.

We proceeded to bull shit his parents by sitting at his kitchen table with our books out and I was drawing franticly as he tried to help me.

He wasn't great at this.

I mean at all.

Eventually he got the gist of the situation... He had somewhat only guessed what had happened on the day of the chocolate cake incident.

" so you like him..." he said... slightly in shock, his eyes huge.

" yes... and he has no IDEA!" I said angrily, I was sketching away in my maths book.

" what... so why is anything his fault?"

" because he treated me like I was some one important to him!" I yelled quietly. I was just happy some one was listening. Amelia was no good for this sort of thing. She was the enemy also... and she was still at the teasing.

The worst she was doing now was the piggy backs again... rarely but ... it was still happening.

" you are though, he said your one of his best friends remember!"

" that's partly the problem... " I muttered, " I'm just the backup"

" I'm sure your something to him, something more than that" he said, sighing. " I think you are"

I looked at him suspiciously from across the table.

" what are you playing?"

He looked up from his laptop. " just stating the truth"

" uh huh... nothing else... ?" I mumbled vaguely.

" sorry ..."

" it's ok ..." I smiled.

The conversation wasn't flowing greatly after that with useful information. It was more soccer , gaming and music talk. Basically the only thing I got out of it ... was the courage and anger for the next move.
