The Tan family gathered in their lavish condominium, the daytime darkness outside mirroring the gloom within. The Singapore power outage, now in its fourth day, had brought the city to a standstill, but the Tans' anger and resentment remained unchecked.

Richard, the patriarch, slammed his fist on the coffee table. "We need to take down the Lims," he bellowed. "They think they can just waltz in here and steal our business? Unacceptable."

Meng Qi stood up, her eyes blazing. "We should focus on destroying the Lims, once and for all. We can't let them get away with this."

Anne nodded in agreement. "I'm with ah ma. Taking down the Lims should be our top priority."

Richard's face turned red with rage. "Agreed. We'll show them the true meaning of power. We'll crush them, just like they're trying to crush us."

Raymond chimed in, his voice filled with venom. "We'll make them pay for what they've done to us. We'll take back what's rightfully ours."

Richard's voice boomed through the room. "We'll take down the Lims, and we'll do it together, as a family."

"But what about Karen?" Anne asked quietly.

Richard's expression turned cold. "Karen will have to wait. The Lims are a bigger threat right now."

Meng Qi nodded. "We can't let them use Karen as leverage against us."

The room fell silent, the family's anger and determination hanging in the air like a challenge. The flickering candles cast eerie shadows on the walls as they began to outline their plan.

"We'll gather allies," Richard said.

"We'll gather evidence," Raymond added.

"And we'll strike when the time is right," Anne concluded.

The Tan family's resolve hardened, their focus fixed on taking down the Lims. Karen's fate hung in the balance, but for now, she was secondary to their quest for power.
