Nathan burst into the room, his heart racing with relief as he finally caught up with Karen and Yu Fang.

Yu Fang stood at the front of the door, her face lighting up with a bright grin as she saw Nathan.

"Kor Kor!" she exclaimed.

Nathan swept Yu Fang into a tight hug, holding her close as he whispered, "Thank goodness! Both of you are safe!"

Yu Fang giggled and teased, "Kor Kor, you took forever to find us! I thought we'd have to send out a search party!"

Nathan chuckled and smiled, "Hey, I got here as fast as I could! You know I'd never leave you two behind."

Yu Fang grinned mischievously, "Sure, sure, Kor Kor. But next time, can you try to be a bit faster? My legs were getting tired from waiting!"

Nathan playfully ruffled Yu Fang's hair, "I'll try my best, little one. But no more getting into trouble, okay?"

As Nathan released his embrace from Yu Fang, he turned to look at Karen, who stood with her back to them, facing a wall.

But before he could reach her, Yu Fang grabbed his arm, her eyes locked on his with a warning. She shook her head, her tiny hands tugging on his sleeve.

Nathan's instincts told him something was off, but he pulled away from Yu Fang's grasp, his eyes fixed on Karen.

"Karen?" he called out, his voice soft and tentative.

But as he approached her, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. Yu Fang's warning glance lingered in his mind, making him wonder what he was about to face.......
