vanessa wasnt the most creative soul, but she was aware of it and to be honest, completely fine with it too. so having to plan out something for someone whose opinion she actually cared about made her nervous to say the least.

she was sure lynn wouldnt tell her if she hated it, but she really wanted her to enjoy it aswell, especially since she had turned down her offer to go to that fair.

so she thought of what lynn would enjoy and ended up with walking to the park that was about 20 minutes away, then hoping that the people who were lending out roller skates she saw when she walked past a few days ago still were there.

sure there was a lot of other things shed rather do, but she didnt mind if she got to be with lynn. she just prayed that she magically had gotten better than what she was the last time she tried rollerskating because that ended.. well...

nessa was practically skipping down the street on her way towards the loud house to pick up lynn. even tho they hung out several days a week, she was always just as exited.

in the garden she spotted lincoln and clyde doing whatever. they were both wearing helmets and had pillows taped onto their front and back, it was a whole thing.

"well hello m'lady. how can i help you?" lincoln rushed over to the girl and threw off his helmet, trying to act cool, almost tripping clyde over something that looked like a cart with 3 wheels in the process. nessa still couldnt take him seriously, considering he looked like a pillow with a head.

"uhm im here to see your sister" it sounded like a question, but the whole situation couldnt help but make her wonder what they possibly could be doing. it was lincoln and clyde after all, clincoln mcloud if you will. no one ever knew what they were up to. and she wasnt going to be the one to ask either.

"would you maybe wanna-" lincoln started, but was cut off by a voice on the porch. "vanessa!" she snapped her head in the direction to see her second favourite loud sister.

"luna, hey!" nessa speedwalked away from the two boys and made her way up the short three steps up the porch. "thank you for saving me from whatever that was" she added, but luna ignored it.

"are you here for lynn?" luna asked and nessa nodded in response. "is it a date?" she asked, causing a rush of panic to go through the other girl. "pfft what? no" she lied, but luna was quick to reply.

"oh my gosh youre an even worse liar than her, but dont worry, lynn told me. im really happy for you" she smiled. nessas shoulders relaxed, knowing it meant one person less to keep it from, a bonus being that luna probably had the best gaydar shes ever seen, making it almost impossible to keep anything from her.

how is it possible for someone to go up to another person and just be able to tell that they were into someone? vanessa didnt know, but luna could easily.

lynn stepped out the front door wearing something as simple as a pair of basket shorts and the tshirt nessa had given her. the butterflies in her stomach always spun when she saw her in it.

"nessa, hi!" she said, the last part coming out muffeled because she had her face buried in the girls shoulder. luna smiled seeing how in love her little sister was and that she finally had gotten what she wanted so bad, even if she hadnt always been fully aware or honest with herself about it.

"ill give you your girlfriend back. have fun lovebirds" luna said, messing up the hair of both of them by ruffling it with each of her hands. they stared at her until she closed the door behind herself, leaving them alone on the porch. well except for the fact that lincoln and clyde were now sitting on the pillows they were wearing just a few minutes ago, watching closely and whispering about something.
