Later that evening, after a well-deserved bath and putting on fresh clothes, Lucci was heading to his quarters when he found himself confronted by two familiar figures, one in front of him and one behind.
He tensed, narrowing his eyes at the masked figure in front.
"What can I do for you, Sir?" he asked coldly, only to be ignored. He barely managed to dodge a swing aimed at him, his eyes widening in surprise.
"What is going on—" he began, but was abruptly kicked from behind, sending him crashing harshly to the ground.
The two male Pillars remained silent, their demeanor calm as they approached Lucci.
He quickly got to his feet, preparing to fight. With a fierce glare, he braced himself for the confrontation, his body tense and ready for action.
The Pillars, maintaining their composed posture, moved with calculated precision, their movements clearly reflecting their superior skills and training. Lucci, determined to prove himself, launched into a series of swift, practiced strikes, each move executed with the intent to overpower his opponents.
Despite his skill and experience, Lucci struggled against the Pillars' relentless and seemingly effortless defense. They weren't attacking aggressively but were clearly testing his abilities with precise and measured responses.
Eventually, Lucci found himself on the ground, bruised and battered, with a foot pressed firmly on his rib.
"That's enough. She's waiting," the taller male said, his tone final. The other Pillar nodded in agreement.
The shorter Pillar removed his foot from Lucci's rib and grabbed him by the collar, dragging him away. Lucci, still reeling from the encounter, could only follow as they led him to meet the woman he had seen earlier.
