Chapter 21: Facade

The Vice Admiral "Shi No Megami" Exiomir Rose, has become a name known all over the world. When The Pillars undertook missions that were broadcast to the public, as the head agent, you took the credit. Making sure that the existence of The Pillars remained hidden. Your last name, along with the alias given by Garp, was used each time you were mentioned.

Your pictures have been all over the newspapers these past two years, yet none of the portrayals seem kind. There are mixed reactions to your achievements—fear, admiration, and hate—but you remain indifferent.

Those who truly know you can't believe what you've become. The (Y/N) they remember would never be this heartless.

Setting all of those aside, as ordered by the higher-ups of the Pillars, you are to join the meeting being held at Marine Headquarters. This includes most of the well-known high-ranking Marines from across the seas and the allied pirates known as the Shichibukai—the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

During your stay, you'll speak with Garp, reassuring him and the other Marines that you are fine. You'll dispel the rumors circulating about you being held captive by a secretive unit within the World Government, proving them false.

Donquixote Doflamingo, Bartholomew Kuma, Dracule Mihawk, Gecko Moria, and Sir Crocodile were being led by three Vice Admirals with a naval ship behind them. They had just docked at Marine Headquarters. Marines were lined up along their path, saluting as the Shichibukai passed by.

The Vice Admirals in charge were Vice Admiral Axton, a tall, broad-shouldered man with a stern demeanor and short-cropped black hair; Vice Admiral Calista, a sharp-eyed woman with short, silver hair and a no-nonsense attitude; and Vice Admiral Eldridge, a wiry man with a thin mustache and a quick temper. They were tasked with escorting the Shichibukai to their meeting.

"I can't believe we are ordered to do this," one of the vice admirals scowled as he walked with the other two Vice Admirals.

"Keep your mouth shut if you still want to live," Vice Admiral Calista said sharply, continuing her authoritative stride. The other admiral scoffed as they proceeded, leading the Shichibukai.

Suddenly, a shout from behind caught their attention. "WHAT— WHAT IS THAT?!"

Marines and pirates alike turned to look at the ocean behind them. Their eyes widened, and some looked amused or interested.

"There's a big white tiger running on top of the water, Sir!" a marine reported, saluting the Vice Admiral. The marine's superior, Vice Admiral Eldridge, glared at him with sharp teeth scowl.

"I can see it, you idiot!" Eldridge snapped.

The spectacle on the water quickly drew attention from everyone present. The massive white tiger, a rare and magnificent sight, seemed to move effortlessly across the ocean's surface, its powerful muscles rippling beneath its pristine fur. The tiger's presence was both awe-inspiring and bewildering, capturing the gaze of both the Shichibukai and the Marines.
