Shanks sat in the nearly empty bar, the only ones left being his crew, Eira, her father, you, and Shiro.
Eira and her father stood behind the bar counter, keeping a safe distance, bewildered by the surreal scene before them.
One of the Yonko—whose identity they only learned when you mentioned it—sat with a face so bruised, it looked like he'd been stung by a swarm of bees. His lips were swollen, and he winced every time he moved.
You sat across from him, calmly sipping your favorite wine, your expression cool and unimpressed. Shanks' crew sat silently behind him, far more obedient and quiet than they had been moments earlier.
"So, you're Luffy's Onee-san?" Shanks asked, his voice muffled by his comically swollen lips.
Benn Beckman joined the two of you, casually drinking his rum, shaking his head fondly at his captain's predicament.
"Must I always repeat myself when I talk to you?" You shot the red-haired captain a glare, which he responded to with a childish pout.
"How do you even handle a captain like him? Is this really the Yonko the Marines are so cautious of?" you asked Benn incredulously.
"You have no idea," Benn replied with a playful grin, taking a long sip of his drink.
Shanks' pout deepened as he playfully glared at Benn. "C'mon, man! You're supposed to side with me, not her!" he whined, while you huffed, clearly annoyed.
Your original target had already slipped away, sneaking out of the bar with the other patrons when you decided to "teach" the Yonko a lesson. It wasn't much of a fight—Shanks had been too caught off guard, stunned by the sudden appearance of this fierce and beautiful woman he'd never met before. He took the beating without resistance.
Not that it hurt.
It hurt like a bitch.
Benn's grin widened, thoroughly enjoying the situation.
"You influenced my little brother to become a pirate!" you snapped at Shanks, who was still pouting.
Is he trying to look cute?!
You thought, irritated.
"I didn't do anything! Stop accusing me, scary pretty lady~" he whined, but you grabbed his collar, your smile strained as vein marks appeared on your forehead.
"Oi. I'm still a Vice Admiral. How dare you insinuate I'm a liar?" you said lowly, your intense gaze making him sweat as he nervously looked away.
"I didn't say that..." Shanks muttered with a nervous smile. You sighed and pushed him back into his seat.
He chuckled in amusement, adjusting himself as he settled back.
