2 years later...
The Pillars' Facility was in chaos. Agents whispered frantically down the halls, agitated and confused, though not entirely surprised. If they had the courage to do what the infamous Blackrose had done, many would have followed suit without hesitation.
The whispers eventually reached the highest office in the facility. It was clear they had, especially when a resignation letter was delivered—handed over by none other than the Grand Superior Vizier himself.
No one but Vizier would have dared to bring such a letter to his desk.
"How dare she think she can just quit?! How dare she?!" Xavier roared, his voice seething with rage as he hurled papers off his desk. Vizier stood by, unfazed, his expression cold and detached.
"What does she think The Pillars are?! Some place she can just walk away from when she's had enough? This is where she belongs! That ungrateful bitch!" He bellowed, throwing a piece of furniture out of the window in a violent outburst.
Xavier breathed heavily, leaning on his desk for support, his eyes wide with rage.
"What's the fucking news about the Navy?" he asked, his voice strained with fury.
"She resigned there too, handing the letter herself to Sengoku," Vizier replied coldly. Xavier's glare darkened.
"AND?!"
"Nothing else. According to Sengoku's report, Exiomir (Y/N) resigned from the Navy, citing mental instability as the reason."
"What kind of fucking reason is that?! And he just let her?!" Xavier shouted, slamming his fist on the desk, his anger boiling over at the absurdity of it all.
"Yes," Vizier answered curtly.
Xavier gritted his teeth, then exploded, screaming at the top of his lungs in pure frustration. "I won't allow this! We cannot fucking allow this! That brat is the property of the World Government! She can't just be free!" His voice echoed off the walls. "Gather all the Superiors and prepare for a forceful restrain!" he ordered, his eyes blazing with fury.
But Vizier, unfazed as ever, met his gaze coldly. "The remaining Superiors are nowhere to be found."
Xavier's eyes widened, his face losing a shade of color. "What?"
"They're nowhere to be found, sir. They've gone too," Vizier repeated, his words cutting through the tense silence like a blade.
Xavier stood frozen, his mind struggling to process the magnitude of what he was hearing. "What do you mean... by gone?" he asked, his voice trembling with disbelief.
"Unlike Exiomir, none of them left anything behind. No resignation, no warnings. They just vanished. No one saw them leave," Vizier explained, his calm tone a stark contrast to the chaos unfolding in Xavier's mind.
