You thought you could do it—just kill one of them. But you were so damn wrong.
While you were planning your strategy, they ambushed you again—soul-eaters this time.
Frustration boiled inside you, rage seeping into every thought.
Why?! Why do they seem to know all your moves?! Is this really how weak you are?!
To make it worse, they laughed at you. Mocking. Taunting. Reveling in your futile attempts to fight back.
Despite the five of you, you didn't win. You couldn't even come close.
Now, all your friends lay on the ground, bloodied, breathing heavily. Defeated, just like you. Their Haki, their strength—it wasn't enough. Not for this. Not for them.
Damn it. Damn it all!!
Tears of anger welled up in your eyes as you stared at the blood pooling around you. Your blood.
Libidine held you by the back of your neck, your hands shackled behind you, rendering you powerless.
This wasn't how it was supposed to go. You were one of the Pillars. You ARE the Pillars!
"Are you done playing around?" Dahlia's voice was soft, almost scolding. She sat on a makeshift throne, looking older now—probably your age—but despite her appearance, you knew she was far from young.
Her eyes lit up with amusement as they met yours, savoring your miserable state.
"Oh dear, why glare at me like that? I let you play, didn't I? I let you try. But still, you're no match at all," she laughed, the sound cold and mocking.
"Why? Why do you seem to know everything?! I refuse to be a pawn in your fucking game!" you shouted, your voice cracking with desperation.
Dahlia sighed, taking a casual sip from her wine. She uncrossed her legs and walked toward you, her presence towering.
"Darling, you've been playing everyone else's games since the day you were born. The Marines, the Pillars... and now mine. My game. Unfortunately for you, this will be the last one you play. How sad, isn't it? You've never won. Born a pawn, and you'll die as one." She smiled coldly before turning back to her throne, seating herself with infuriating grace.
"You don't know shit about me!" you yelled, struggling against Libidine's grip, desperately trying to lunge at Dahlia.
"Perhaps not," she mused, "Perhaps I'm wrong about who you really are. Maybe you're not her. Oh, of course, you're not her. There's no way she could be you. Maybe she really is dead after all." Her grin widened as she leaned back, savoring the power she held over you. "You're too weak to be someone like her. But that's good. I won't need to kill you after all."
