As soon as Crocodile left the room, you immediately started searching for anything that could help you get the damn chains off.

Where the hell did he even get these things? You swore to yourself that once you were free, you'd hunt down whoever made them and make them regret it.

Cursing under your breath, you rummaged through everything in sight, not caring if you broke something or made a mess in the process. Your focus was singular—find something, anything, to get free.

Then, the door opened.

You froze. Well, shit. You weren't expecting that. You'd been so preoccupied with your search that you didn't even notice anyone approaching.

Your gaze fell on a lean, black-haired woman standing in the doorway. She was one of those serious, untouchable beauties—mysterious and poised in a way that demanded attention.

Of course, you knew exactly who this was. You'd seen her before, albeit briefly. Crocodile made damn sure you never got the chance to talk to her for more than a minute, acting as if she were some sort of contagious disease—or maybe he thought the same of you.

If you didn't know Crocodile better, you might've assumed this woman was his lover. But you knew that was impossible. If his relentless hints toward you weren't evidence enough, you were pretty sure he wasn't into women like her. Hell, for all you knew, his tastes leaned toward certain flamboyant pink abominations. Not that you'd judge; you went both ways, after all.

And judging by the look in Nico Robin's eyes, the feeling of animosity toward Crocodile was mutual.

"Nico Robin," you greeted with a smirk. She smiled softly in return, her demeanor calm and collected.

"Shi No Megami (Y/N). It's nice to see you again," she said, her tone devoid of hostility.

Straightening up, you grinned. "Likewise, darling. Honestly, if the circumstances were different, I'd ask you out. But as you can see," you raised your shackled wrists for emphasis, "I'm a little tied up at the moment."

She chuckled, and damn, didn't she look amazing when she did.

"Indeed," she replied smoothly. "But that's not why I'm here. I came to inform you of something."

You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And what might that be?"

"Mugiwara no Luffy and his crew, along with the princess, are on their way to the casino. They'll probably break in at any moment. I assume you're aware that there's a trap waiting for them, right?" She tilted her head slightly as she spoke.

Running a hand through your hair, you nodded. "Of course. Crocodile isn't an idiot. But that's not the real reason you're here, is it? Although," you grinned mischievously, "I was kind of hoping you came to spend some time with me."

Robin shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. "You're right. That's not the reason. I'm here to give you this."
