My lips moved slowly, as if saying something except, there was no voice.
He drank blood? Wasn't that dangerous? How was he still alive? No, that wasn't the problem. If he drank human blood, then that surely meant he relished eating human flesh too.
Was he cannibalistic?
My body froze.
My heart raced.
Goosebumps tickled my arms.
That explained the cut fingers on the desk...
The blood began filling the empty bags a bit faster. I looked at the bag on my right seeing my blood squirt into it. My chest was puffing up and down as I tried to calm myself and not think about being eaten or drank. I stared at Morro.
"Yeah, yeah." He stood up, dropping the empty blood bag on the ground. "Not so hygienic." He reached his hand back, itching his shoulder blade.
It was silent. All you could hear was his sharp nails rubbing against his skin which sounded very dry.
"But, I can't help it. It's become a non-quittable habit." He smirked, pulling his hand back towards him and looking at the blood on the tips of his nail.
I looked at his nails, not blinking even for a second. He looked at me, then took his shirt off. I stared at him, petrified why he was doing that. My attention averted to the left side of his body as he lifted his shirt. I looked at the black tattoo revealing itself, its end still hidden in his trousers. I looked at the claws, seeing the animal's green and red scales. It was a dragon, swerving from the left side of his stomach, across his side, to the back then returning from the ribs, over his left pec then finally crawling up to the side of his neck. He stared at me with a grin, clenching his shirt in his right hand. He probably thought I was seduced by his perfect body by the way I gawked. He dropped his black shirt on the ground, turning around slowly.
My heart stopped.
I looked at his skin.
His entire back was bruised and wounded with scratches from intense itching. They were bleeding.
It looked painful. Very painful.
You couldn't even tell the difference between the vitiligo. The huge darker coloured patch on his right side which descended down into his pants seemed close to the colour of his peach skin since it was all red anyway.
My eyebrows quavered, staring at his back.
He turned around to look at me. "It just happened recently." He looked at me straight faced. "But, the doctors said it'll get better soon."
I exhaled shakingly, letting my breath go slowly after holding it in for so long.
"I just gotta take a dozen pills daily." He laughed.
I almost cried realizing the anxiety-full life he was living. But then again, I almost cried. He chose to do that shit.
"Let me tell you a story, Charlie." He itched the side of his neck, reddening the area too.
He walked towards me, admiring my deceitful and disgusted reaction.
He paused, standing right in front of my face. I looked at his stomach, tracing his abs up to look at his face.
