The wind gushed furiously against my face. The sun's rays warmed the back of my neck as I hung my head down. I felt the tiny hairs on my scruff sway as I looked over the edge, my feet planted at the rim of the building.
"Are we allowed here?" I asked, my voice beaming in happiness.
My wavy black hair oscillated frivolously in front of my forehead, blinding my eyes periodically. I enjoyed the view, gazing at the tiny people and colorful cars passing by beneath me. It was even more relishing under the heat of the sun.
"No one knows," Seliel giggled.
I listened to the sound of her heels approaching me from behind.
I smiled. I turned my head over my left shoulder, closing an eye to look at her under the bright light from the setting sun that shone from my right. The wind swayed her luscious golden locks, forcing them to fall off her shoulders and brush against her back. The pearl white choker wrapped around her neck was revealed, complimenting her black fringes which oscillated by her face, tickling her collarbone. The diamond tops reflected a shiny sparkle. Her white tank top enhanced the glimmering of her flawless snow-white skin.
She was like a gem.
I faced her. I watched her pause in front of me looking down at her light blue and grey box pleated skirt dangled in front of her thighs.
I put my hands in my black denim pockets. My heart raced. I stared at her, adrenaline pulsing through my veins like blood.
"Isn't it nice up here?" She asked, looking below us from my right side.
"Yeah," I did too.
"Cole." She mumbled, stepping closer to me. "I like you."
She paused for a moment, allowing me to look at her red tinted lips. She took a step closer to me.
"I don't want to hurt you," she whispered softly.
"What do you mean? You've never hurt–"
I stopped talking. She suddenly shut my mouth, gluing her glossed lips on mine. My eyes widened as I pulled my hands out of my pockets, staring at her shut eyelids. She raised herself higher on her toes to reach me. I admired her long eyelashes thickened by her mascara, enjoying her heavy breaths on my face as she gasped for air, kissing me. I put my hand on her hip, slipping it behind her. I closed my eyes, plunging in the long lasting moment.
She inhaled, instantly wrapping her arms around my neck. She tucked her face in the crook of it. Her heels were lifted as high as possible above the ground to reach me.
"Seliel..." My fingers tangled in her curly blond hair, tied up in a ponytail.
I hugged her back, closing my eyes as I enjoyed the frizzy feeling of the shimmering sun and the scent of her Versace perfume.
"Oh! Sorry!" someone blurted.
I flinched. Seliel immediately backed away from me, pausing with her hand flat against the light grey 'Calvin Klein' writing over my white T-shirt. She turned her body towards the sun, looking to her right as I looked straight. We both stared at the origin of the voice, shocked to see another being on the top of the building with us. The cool wind blew against our faces as we tried to figure out the identity of the girl standing in the far corner, opposite to us.
