. . .

Third Person P.O.V

The two eventually pulled away from the hug and Enid was allowed to return back to her dorm once the nurse checked on her.

The two silently walked back to the dorm, obvious tension surrounding them because of their shared kiss.

The air between the two felt strange, uncomfortable but not awkward, awkward but not negative.

It was strange, the fact that for once Enid had nothing to say but also the fact that for once Wednesday wished nothing more than for Enid to speak her mind.

And the two walked in silence back to Y/n's dorm, the shifter had been left alone for quite some time and although she had shifted back to her human form, there was no telling what she could possibly look like right now.

The two approach the dorm, Wednesday taking the courtesy to knock and enter the room first.

Enid soon walks in after the short goth, her eyes immediately drawn to the figure that was seated on the floor, curled into a ball, the soft sound of sobs coming from the shivering body.

Enid is quick to approach her, crouching down cautiously next to the shifter, placing a gentle hand to her shaking shoulder but immediately retracting and letting out a gasp at the feeling of how much heat was coming from her body.

"She's burning up..." Enid says in deep concern.

Wednesday looks at the two with slightly furrowed brows, the smallest tick in her face as she looks on in worry, although she would never out right admit or show it.

"She could possibly be developing a fever" The young Addams stoically responds, walking up to the two girls with slight fascination on her face.

"Could it be due to how often and how much her body shifts or could it be the effects of the curse, what's causing her to shift so much..." Wednesday questions to herself, couching down and tilting her head to look at Y/n's face, taking in the way her skin had grown sickly pale and beads of sweat decorated her face.

"Well what do we do?! We can't just leave her like this!" Enid exclaims in slight panic, looking to Wednesday for guidance.

"I'll contact her mother, try to bring down her temperature" Wednesday directs as she walks out of the dorm room, taking quick and wide strides to her and Enid's shared dorm to retrieve her phone.

Enid remained in Y/n's dorm room, slightly panicked as she quickly runs to the connected bathroom in the shifters room, getting a cold wet rag and walking back to the shivering girl.

The wolf holds the taller girls cheek in her hand delicately, frowning at the way she flinches and continues to shiver.

Enid begins to gently dab the cloth across Y/n's face, smiling softly at the way the shifter subconsciously leans into the cool feeling of the rag.

The moment alone, well almost alone, gives Enid a moment to step in her thoughts and while those thoughts were full of the strange pair of women she had fallen for, the thought of the two now felt more like a burden.

The kiss didn't feel right, it felt rushed, fake, almost like Wednesday wasn't ready to admit those feelings.

The thought plagued Enid's mind while she cared for the shifter, these two women were her soulmates but something felt off about it all.
