"Please don't take him in, Decker." I plead, hoping he'll understand, Decker scans my face, his new expression is unreadable. "He's a good man, he did the right thing. He's here to help us escape."

A sigh escapes my lips but the person I find answering isn't Decker, but Caspian.

"It's okay Kali, I need to pay for crimes. I won't be in jail forever,"

He helps me up and strokes my face, I close my eyes and breathe deep trying to process this. He's turning himself in.

Why would he do this? To redeem himself, he's overcome with guilt from all the awful things he's done. He needs this.

"I'll visit you, and I'll be there when you get out. I promise." He kisses the top of my forehead, I glance over at Decker. "Take care of this fucker, okay Decker?" Decker cracks a smile and nods.

"I'll do my best to reduce his sentence, Warner."

When Caspian took Decker and I to find his team, they all instantly tried to take out Caspian, Decker and I tried our hardest to explain everything that happened.

The looks of confusion on their faces were priceless.

It was quite the struggle to help me and Decker up the stairs but once we finally made it up the gusts of fresh air licked my face, suddenly I felt so grateful to be able to not be in a basement anymore.

When the cops cars came to take Caspian away, I couldn't part with him, not here not now, so when they cuffed his hands behind his back and threw him in, I insisted on coming in. I leaned against the warmth of his body, wishing it could stay like this forever.

"You did it Kali, you did it. You caught him, feel proud of yourself." Caspian says to me letting a chuckle escape him, I feel tears well up in my eyes.

"Proud?" I spit, "You're going to prison because of me, you've really changed what will happen to Vivana, she just wants to help her family, and what's going to happen to Willow and Aeron, they work for Malgrave too?" My mind is flooded with so many questions and I just can't contain my emotions, god Caspian, what am I going to do without you?

"Vivana and the others will be fine, they have their connections. Just don't let their names slip to Decker." He says with a wink, I feel my tears vanish.

"But what about me?" I ask looking up at his beautiful, stupid face.

"What about you, Kali?"
