Mina tapped her fingers against the laptop keyboard, her mind racing. The weight of her responsibilities as the Student Council President was starting to feel overwhelming. She let out a sigh, her eyes momentarily closing.

"That's deep," Jihyo chuckled as she placed some folders on the Japanese girl's table. "Here's the Calendar of Activities you might want to look at, so that we can plot the school events for the whole school year."

Mina glanced at the pile of papers, feeling a wave of dread wash over her. She had so much to do, and so little time.

Jihyo smiled gently as she tapped her best friend's shoulder. "Are you okay? Is there something bothering you? You can tell me anything, Mina. You know we are... best friends? Or are we... still?"

The Japanese girl eyed her Vice President, her heart aching. She could see the longing in Jihyo's eyes. Was she too focused on her personal life that she forgot about the person who's always there for her, even when she's been a mess?

"Of course we are," Mina replied, pulling Jihyo into a tight hug. "I'm sorry. I've been a mess lately."

"I'm guessing you broke up with Bambam because you're not annoying anymore," Jihyo commented, a hint of teasing in her voice.

"Was I annoying?" Mina gasped, her eyes widening.

"You were dismissive of... of me... of Jeongyeon, but it's fine. We understand," Jihyo replied, her smile fading. "And that's why it's annoying. It's annoying because I miss you... a lot, but it seems like you don't care." Jihyo's voice was filled with sadness.

The Japanese girl pursed her lips, her eyes beginning to tear. "I'm... I'm sorry. I-"

"It's fine, I understand," Jihyo interrupted, her voice soft. "So anything in your plate you would like to share?"

Mina smiled as they pulled away from the hug, "Well, I mean you know that I am the Mathletes president now, right?" Jihyo nodded, "I've been wanting to reach out to these freshmen, but I don't know how to." She stated and then hovered her fingers

Jihyo hummed as she checked the paper, "Oh, I could help."

"Really?" The Japanese girl cast a grateful smile.

"Yep, I know Dahyun. She'll be part of the Student Council soon so you don't need to worry about actually talking to her." Jihyo smiled, "In fact, she'll be here later."

Mima smiled brightly, "Perfect. Thanks Jihyo."

The student council office was a whirlwind of activity when Mina arrived, the soft hum of conversation and the rustle of papers filling the air. She was greeted by a bright smile and a friendly wave from Kim Dahyun, the freshman representative.

"Hello, my name is Kim Dahyun," Dahyun stated, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. She bowed respectfully, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

Mina's eyebrows raised in amusement at the girl's enthusiastic introduction. She had expected a more reserved greeting from a freshman, but Dahyun was clearly anything but.

With a warm chuckle, Mina tapped Dahyun's shoulder. "Hi. It's nice to meet you."

Dahyun's face flushed a bright pink at the simple gesture. She had heard so much about Mina from her best friend, Chaeyoung, who had a crush on the student council president. Chaeyoung had painted a picture of Mina as a kind, intelligent, and incredibly beautiful person, and Dahyun had been eagerly anticipating their meeting. It is like her secret mission in highschool. Since Chaeyoung is still stuck in middle school and it will take her bestfriend one more year before she becomes a high schooler.
