"Mina-unnie, here are the list of the kids we could help for the tutorial program." Dahyun stated as she placed the folder on the Japanese girl's desk.
"Thank you, Dahyun," Mina replied, her voice soft. She couldn't deny a pang of guilt. She knew she'd been pushing the girl too hard lately, with the growing number of students and the increasing demands of her own studies.
Dahyun noticed the tired lines etched on Mina's face. "Are you alright, Mina-unnie? You look exhausted."
Mina forced a smile. "I'm fine, just a bit overwhelmed."
Dahyun nodded understandingly. "If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help."
The Japanese girl looked up and smiled appreciatively, "Thanks, I'll probably delegate some of my task to Yoo Jeongyeon. You have been a great help already, Dahyun. While my... sister..." Her words trailed, now it feels awkward to call Jeongyeon her sister, "Uh, she's busy with football." She chuckled.
Dahyun sat down across Mina, "Mina-unnie, I have a question."
"What is it?" The Japanese girl smiled, anticipating for the younger girl's question.
"Are you, and Jeongyeon-unnie half-sisters? I mean, you have different surnames and all." Dahyun stated, but then realized how nosy she sounded as the blush spread across her face, "Oh nevermind, it's too personal. I'm sorry."
"It's fine." Mina smiled, "Well, ypu aren't the first person to ask." She chuckled. "Well Jeongyeon and I are not blood related, but since..." She gulped talking about her family's death will never be easy. She smiled amd glanced at Dahyun. "It's a long story," she stirred the topic, "But the Yoo family has been taking care of me eversince I was a kid, and we were taught to treat each other like sisters, blood-related sisters. So yeah." She smiled simplifying her explanation.
Dahyun nodded, her curiosity satisfied. She wanted to ask more about Mina's past, but she sensed that the girl wasn't ready to share.
"Anyway, Dahyun, please sort these names by year-level," Mina said, handing the folder back to her. "I'll assign tutors once you're done."
Mina's phone buzzed in her pocket, jolting her from her thoughts. She pulled it out and saw it was Jihyo, her vice president.
"Hello?" Mina answered, her voice laced with a hint of concern.
"Mina, can you come to the Student Council office, please? We're going over our budgets and activities, and I think we might be missing something." Jihyo's voice was urgent.
"Of course," Mina replied, her heart sinking slightly. She knew how important it was to be on top of their responsibilities. "I'll be there in a minute," she added, turning to Dahyun, who was sitting across from her. "I'm so sorry, Dahyun, but I have to go to the Student Council office. Jihyo needs my help. Please assign the first years to you and the other two freshmen Mathlete officer, then assign the juniors to me, and Jeongyeon will handle the seniors." Mina explained in a rush as she gathered her things. "I'm so sorry." She uttered.
"It's fine Mina-unnie. You're the Student Council President it is expected that you are busy, go on. I'll be fine here." Dahyun stated as se smiled.
Mina felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. "Thank you so much, Dahyun. You're a lifesaver."

Their Math tutorial program will handle the students that need the most help in their Math studies. Initially they have almost fourteen thousand kids, which is obviously too much for them to handle. So Dahyun short-listed them down to 100, until they finally reached to only 50 students that need urgent help.
