Thirty-Two

Taylor POV

I had finished up the European leg of the tour and i was meant to be heading back to New York but instead i am sitting in a car heading to Arrowhead stadium to surprise Travis once again at one of his games.  

Sometimes at random points in my day it will occur to me just how lucky i am to love someone who loves me just as deeply as i do them, I know that Travis struggles with distance that occurs sometimes and while really it was only three more days until i would have been back here anyways i knew that he would appreciate the extra time just as much as i do. 

I quickly get out of the car and take Evelyn's hand in mine leading her into the stadium and walking into the box where all of Travis' family would be. 

"Will they care that i am here?" she ask nervously as i open the door revealing everyone 

"No sweetheart, not at all" 

I walk into the room and Donna quickly walks over to us before wrapping me in a hug and speaking "It's lovely to see you, Travis didn't mention you were coming"

"No he doesn't know" I giggle letting go of her and pulling away from the hug 

"This is Evelyn, she works with me on tour and i thought it would be nice to bring her along" I mention, pulling Evie closer to me 

"Oh that's great, it's nice to meet you i'm Donna" 

"It's nice to meet you too, thank you for having me" Evelyn replies 

We walk deeper into the room and i say hello to everyone, introducing Evelyn as i go before finding a seat. 

I enjoyed watching the game, i always have. Growing up i went to many games with my dad but now my eyes are glued to Travis instead of actually watching all the plays so it's easy to notice that something isn't right with him today. The Chiefs were currently losing by a decent amount, they were on half time at the moment and had twenty minutes before it was time to go back on the field.

"Is he okay" I turn to Donna

"I don't know, he seemed off all day but didn't mention anything was wrong" she explained looking just as worried as i felt. 

I quickly get up and walk over to Jason before speaking "How much shit would i get in if i went down there" I ask pointing my finger to the field 

"Well it wouldn't be great but if you go through the back no one would really see you" he explained and that was all i needed to go grab my phone and bag, getting ready to go down 

"Hey sweetheart i'm going to make sure he is okay, are you alright here or do you need to come?" I ask Evie, even though i am worried about Travis i still cared for her comfort and making sure she felt okay

"I will be fine, good luck" she smiles 

I walk out the door letting my security know what i am doing and i head down the hall with them behind me. I quickly make my way around he back and my eyes instantly land on Travis sitting with his head rested in between the pair of his hands and i grow more worried. 

I make my way over to him silently placing my bag on the ground before placing a hand on his shoulder 

"Hunny are you okay?" I ask softly 

It wouldn't surprise me if Travis had given himself whiplash with how fast he put his head up as soon as i spoke 

"What are you doing here?" He asks quickly coming to his feet 

"I came to surprise you and watch you play but i had to come see if you were okay"

Instead of words Travis wraps his arms around me and pulls me tightly against him
