Thirty-Six

3 Months Later 

Taylor POV 

Tonight was the last night of the ERAS tour and over the last year and a half that i had been touring i had been waiting for the day that i could return to normal, not really knowing what my normal would be but i was excited for it. But now as im getting changed into my midnights bodysuit for the last time ever i have to quickly wipe my tears before they ruin my makeup. I know that when i take my final bow on stage i will miss the crazy life of this tour. 

So i get back up on stage and perform to the best of my ability, giving it my all. I finish the last notes of karma and move back to be with my crew 

"Please everyone give it up for my amazing dancers, they give it their all each and every time they perform and i am so incredibly lucky to have had them all by my side through this tour" I say loudly into the microphone before the stadium erupts into cheers 

"And a huge applause for my band, these guys have been with me for years. Going through the good and the bad together and tackling every Era as they come by, Thank you guys for doing this tour with me" I thank them all 

As everybody leaves the stage i stand in the Centre taking it all in for one last time before it all ends 

"And last but not least, in fact most importantly thank you to all of you. To you all for showing up night after night and giving us everything you have, I know how much time and effort it takes to come to a show like this and  i just want you all to know how incredibly thankful i am for all of you. I started this tour over a year and a half ago and it is no secret that i wasn't really okay during some shows i umm i knew that you all wanted a tour but i truly believe that i needed it. This tour has brought me back to life in ways i didn't know was possible, This tour had brought me an amazing love story that i didn't know i deserved until it was right in front of me. This tour has healed me and i know that it has healed some of you too." I take a deep breath as i look into the crowd filled with crying people 

"This tour is pure happiness and i am incredibly sad that it's over but i can promise that more things are coming, i would love to say bigger and better this this tour will be incredibly hard to top." 

I move from the middle of the stage and start walking to the end where i play my surprise songs 

"This wasn't part of the plan so i'm sorry for the confusion but if all of my dancer and band and singer would like to join me back on stage for one more song" I say wiping a tear from my eye as i pick my guitar up from the stage 

"This song is for all of you here and all of you watching" 

"I said remember this moment 

in the back of my mind

the time we stood with our shaking hands 

the crowds and stands went wild "

I continue singing the song as i move around to slowly sway with all of my dancers and band that were back up on stage

I finish up the last on the song and move up to the other end of the stage where it opened for us all to walk through. 

"Thank you all, you mean so much to me" I say before walking off of the stage for the last time 

"I'm so proud of you" I hear Travis behind me 

I quickly move to wrap my arms around his neck sniffling and i wipe my tears 

"It's over" I whisper 

"You did amazing"

I move off of Travis and go to hug every last person who has worked with me so hard to create this amazing tour. 

The next few months will be hard, trying to figure out my life away from the tour but i know whatever happens next i will be okay. 

"I love you all" I yell as i walk away from the large room under the stage
