I am in love -Taylor X Travis

Thirty-Three

Taylor POV 

I had never been given a promise ring nor had i been promised that one day someone will marry me but it felt nice. I had always knew that getting married was something that needed to happen some time in my life but at various stages of adulthood i gave up and just called it a dream, but now it is a reality. 

I know that whenever i get engaged i will also buy Travis a ring too, i find it off how some couples only have the female wear the ring and i want Travis to feel special too. But with a promise ring i was unsure if that was the normal thing people did, however i was going to do it anyway. 

So here i was sitting with Tree and my security deciding on a ring, i had only two rings left to pick from because i didn't like the other but these two were both so stunning that i couldn't decide 

"I don't know what one" I complain, looking over at Tree to se a small smile on her face 

"Taylor, you know you like one more than the other just admit it" 

She is right, i quickly move my hand to pick up the small velvet box on the right with the ring in it that i think looks nicer. 

"This one" I place it back on the counter and thank the sales person before paying and walking back to the big black SUV waiting for me. 

I get into the car, sliding over so Tree can take a seat next to me. "happiness looks good on you Taylor" Tree starts to talk 

"I am really happy that you have found someone who makes you happy and i am also overjoyed that Travis isn't problematic but the ring that is now sitting on that finger doesn't change how you guys still have to act in public. The engagement rumors will start up and i will quickly stop them letting everyone know that it is just a promise ring. Please to make my job a little easier, when you go out just don't be as handsy" Tree finishes, letting out a chuckle as she does

"Will it help if i give you a pay rise" I giggle 

"You are impossible, tell Travis i said he has good taste" she says and in return i give a nod before getting out of the car and walking up into Travis' house

Entering the house was different, by no means was it odd or weird but it just felt different. It was no longer just Travis' house, it was ours. I knew that i would till have to travel to New York from time to time and obviously i still had a few weeks left of tour after this break but i know shared a house with my favourite person. 

I quickly go and sit the balloons in the corner of the second living room and i held a bouquet of flowers in between both of my hands with the small velvet box behind them. 

"Travis baby come here" I call out and quickly enough i hear footsteps getting louder before i see Travis in front of me 

"What are you doing?" He asks 

I reach out one of my hands to and pull him closer, handing him the flowers which he gladly accepts with a large smile. 

"For the whole time i was out i tried to think of what the male equivalent of flowers would be and then it dawned on me that i can just give you flowers, there doesn't have to be something different so those hunny are for you. But i also have something else" I smile 

"Tay you didn't have to do that" he offers moving closer and placing a soft kiss on my lips 

"The way you have loved me is nothing short of magical, It is like the story book type of love that every girl dreams of and i am so lucky that i get to experience it with you. You are the most kind and loving person i know, you care about everyone and put yourself last on so many occasions and that is something i deeply love about you but worry about also. You came into my life at a point where i had almost given up on finding love but you turned every bad thought around and changed my mind for the better. You choose to love me day after day no matter the changes you have to make in your life to accommodate me and my team of staff. Every single day you wake up and choose me and i am so incredibly thankful of that, I couldn't dream of a better person to spend my life with - to go to sleep next to and wake up next to. You are a superstar in everything you do, everything you touch turns to happiness and fun and magic and i am so so proud to get to be by your side through it all. Travis Kelce i could stand here all day and talk about how much i love you but soon enough i believe we would both get bored and i would eventually lose my voice so i hope you know that you are loved and valued and i feel honored to be able to spend my life with you. Thank you for loving me in a way that i have always craved" I let out a shaky breath and look over to see Travis wiping tears that fell from his eyes 

"This my love is for you, i hope you like it" I open the box and place my arm out so he can take a look at the silver ring 

"I promise to love you and care for you, i promise to choose you everyday over and over again. I promise to help you grow and be here for you whenever you need. This if you haven't figured it out already is also a promise ring to you." I take the ring out of the box and place it on Travis' right hand 

"You are perfect sweet girl" He pulls me into him

"Thank you for loving me" I whisper 

"That is not something you have to than me for" He kisses my head 

No feeling has ever compared to the feeling in my stomach right now, feeling so loved is something i hope lasts forever. 

"How are we going to top this with our vows in a few years?" I ask, letting out a giggle 

"I'm sure we will do just fine my love" 

A/N  i think this story is slowly coming to an end and by slowly i mean extremely fast so if their is is anything you want to happen before the end let me know :)
