A Valentine For Toons

It was Valentines day, and everyone was giving their valentine to the people they admire the most. At the moment, Gidget was carrying a little bag of chocolates and a Valentine card while blushing a little, before her adopted sister, Marie came over to her. Marie: "Hey Gidget, what's that you got?" Gidget: "Ah!, [turning around] oh Marie... it's only you... don't sneak up on me like that..." Marie: "But can't you use your psychic powers to detect me?" Gidget: "Oh... I guess my mind was too focused on something else..." Marie: "Is that a Valentine?" Gidget: "Um... you could say that..." Marie: "Who's it for?" Gidget: "Um... it's for... a certain fox boy..." Marie: "You mean it's for Tommy?" Gidget: "Well... yeah... oh man... what's he gonna think if he finds out that I really like him... it'll be so embarrassing..." Marie: "Don't worry, I'm sure he likes you too, and speaking of Valentines... I have a special valentine for Oliver, the kitten who was brave enough to defend my honor from those terrible demon dragons." Gidget: "Oh yeah, I think he's with Jokey and Jokeo right now." Marie: "The hyena twins?" Gidget: "Yeah, they did get adopted by the same couple that adopted Oliver after all." Marie: "Oh yes, that's a good point, I wonder if they have any valentines gifts for us..." Gidget: "Well if they did, they would probably ate it by accident." Marie: "Yeah, that could be true too, as those two have a lot for eating." said Marie, as she and Gidget giggled. Meanwhile, Oliver, Jokey and Jokeo were busy drawing cards for their special valentines. Oliver: "Do you think Marie's gonna like it?" Jokeo: "Beats me, I never gave or gotten a valentine before now." Jokey: "Yeah, most folks didn't wanted to be near us due to being hyenas and all... but when we met Tommy, Gidget and Melody, we managed to get real friends... and a really nice family too." Oliver: "Not to mention you got the chance to hang out with those nice rabbit girls named Flopsy and Mopsy." Jokeo: "Yeah... they're the sweetest bunnies we know... aside from Melody and her mom of course." Jokey: "Hey isn't that their brother over there?" asked Jokey, as he points at Peter Rabbit, who was hiding behind a tree and was watching what looked like a white rabbit girl in a pink long sleeved dress and a pink bow on her head. Her name was Fluff (voiced by Debbie Derryberry) and she happens to be the girl that Peter has a crush on by the looks of it. Peter: "Oh man... Fluff looks so amazing today..." said Peter, before Jokey walks up to him. Jokey: "Who's she?" asked Jokey, which made Peter jumped in fright before turning around. Peter: "Sheesh Jokey!, don't sneak up on people like that!" Jokey: "Sorry... but who's the girl?" Peter: "Um... that's Fluff... she's a girl that's in the same class as me, but I never had the chance to talk or hang out with her..." Jokey: "Is that why you're spying on her?" Peter: "I wouldn't say that..." said Peter, before Fluff comes over to the scene and walks up behind Peter. Fluff: "Excuse me, but have you seen Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail?, I was supposed to meet them around here." Peter: "You... know my sisters?" Fluff: "Oh then you must be Peter Rabbit, yes I know your sisters, they're friends of mine... and I take it that the hyena behind you is Jokey D Hyena?" Jokey: "Yup, that's me, but how did you knew anything about me?" Fluff: "From Flopsy of course, and I must say, I never knew a hyena can be a sweetheart, she's very lucky to have a friend like you." Jokey: "Thanks... um... do you by any chance have a special someone too?" Fluff: "That would be a secret... but I can give you a hint, he's a cute rabbit boy." said Fluff, before she hops away from the scene. Peter: "So she has a valentine too?" Jokey: "And he's a rabbit from what she said..." Peter: "Oh... I guess it's only natural... she would probably be happy with someone that isn't a rabbit like me..." said Peter sadly, before he hops away from the scene, while Jokey couldn't help but feel sorry for him. As Oliver was finishing his valentine for Marie, he sees Peter coming to him with a very sad face. Oliver: "Hey Peter, what's wrong?" Peter: "Oh... there's this girl I like that I wanted to give a Valentine to... but she already has someone in mind... though I guess it's no surprise... no way she would want a rabbit that was naughty enough to steal some veggies from Mr McGregor's garden at one time..." Oliver: "Well it could be a lot worse..." Peter: "I don't see how..." suddenly, the sound of Fluff screaming was heard, much to the surprise of both Oliver and Peter Rabbit. Oliver: "What was that?!" Peter: "That sounded like Fluff... she's in trouble!" cried out Peter, before he and Oliver ran off to the source of the scream, which turned out to be Fluff and the other girls being held in a cage that belonged to the Demon trio. ScreamClaw: "Not a bad haul... but the real prize has yet to appear." ThunderSmacker: "What real prize?" ScreamClaw: "You know, that blasted little fox brat who now owes us his soul due to having his father's powers." SpaceWarp: "Y-y-yeah... what he said..." Fluff: "What are they talking about?" Gidget: "Um... it's a long story..." Flopsy: "Oh dear... what are we gonna do?" Mopsy: "I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little hungry..." Cottontail: "Now is not the time to be thinking about food!" Marie: "No kidding, like we're being held prisoners by these ugly demons..." ScreamClaw: "Hey!, we are not ugly!" ThunderSmacker: "We happen to be very handsome for Demons like ourselves." little did the demons know at the moment, that Tommy, his parents and friends were watching from behind a bush. Tommy: "Oh man... we gotta do something..." Roger: "But what?" Peter: "If only we had someone to distract them..." Jokeo: "Yeah, like maybe a female Demon dragon." Jokey: "But we don't have any female demon dragons with us." Oliver: "Yeah..." Lyric: "Hmm... I have an idea..." said Lyric with a cheeky grin on her face. SpaceWarp: "Uh... g-g-guys... 9 a clock..." said SpaceWarp, before the other demons see a lovely female Demon Dragon, who was really Lyric in disguise, winking at them, causing them to have their eyes bugged out and the sound of a cartoonish horn was heard. While the demons were distracted by the female, Jokey, Jokeo, Tommy, Roger and the other boys came and freed the girls from the cage. Once everyone was free, Tommy and Melody pull out their water balloons and gave some of them to the boys and girls, who joined them on throwing them at the Demon trio, who screamed out in pain and forced them to retreat from the scene. Once the danger was over, Lyric takes off her disguise and goes over to the kids. Lyric: "Are you alright, little ones?" Marie: "We're fine but... why were you in that costume?" Lyric: "It was a disguise, it's also a costume I picked out for next year's Halloween too." Roger: "Yeah... it sure worked on those demons... though I wished they haven't tried to make a move on ya..." Lyric: "Don't worry Roger, you're the only man I want." Roger: "Thanks dear." said Roger, before Lyric kisses him on the cheek, which made him had steam come out of his ears and melted to the ground, which of course made Lyric giggle. That was when Oliver gave Marie the card he made for her. Oliver: "Um... I hope this isn't a bad time... but I made this for you..." Marie: "Oh thank you Oliver, that's really sweet of you." said Marie, before she kisses him on the cheek, which made him blush a little with a shy smile. Oliver: "Oh it's nothing really..." Marie: "Don't say that, it's the thought that counts, and I happened to gave you a Valentine too, a little bag of chocolates." Oliver: "Really?, thanks Marie." Flopsy: "Speaking of chocolates, we got you boys some chocolates too." Mopsy: "Yup, as we know you love sweets." said Flopsy and Mopsy, before they gave their valentines to Jokey and Jokeo, who were very happy to have their first valentines. Soon Tommy gave Gidget a little flower, while Gidget gave Tommy her bag of chocolates. Gidget: "I hope you'll enjoy the chocolates I got for ya." Tommy: "Me too... [eating one of the chocolates] hm... these taste a little funny..." Gidget: "Don't worry, I'm made sure the peanut butter chocolates are very fresh." Tommy "Peanut butter?!" said Tommy, before he froze up and fell to the ground, much to the shock of everyone. The scene changed to show that Lyric and Melody were nursing Tommy back to health, while Gidget and the others were looking worried. Lyric: "He'll be alright, it's a good thing he didn't ate more of those chocolates..." Gidget: "I'm so sorry!, I had no idea that Tommy was allergic to peanuts!" Roger: "No it's our fault for not telling you about it sooner." Tommy: "And it's the thought that counts... so I can't be mad at ya..." Gidget: "Oh thank goodness..." Melody: "Well I think we learned an important lesson here..." Jokeo: "Uh, would that be making sure your valentine isn't allergic to your gift?" Melody: "Well that... and that any gift is good as it's the thought that matters." Lyric: "Very true Melody, very true." Tommy: "Yup, and this Valentines day is great as I get to spend it with all of ya, happy Valentines day everyone... and to you all too." said Tommy as he winks as the readers.
