chapter 41: welcome back

Kokichi pov:

Shuichi finally wrote me back. He didnt anwser to anythign i wrote. He just wrote:

"im so sorry for not anwsering. Ill come back in two days. Then we can talk.
I hope your alright.."

I didnt know if i should be happy or upset. I wanted to be upset but all i could feel in my heart was excitement. Pure excitment.

I never was so unpatient beofre. I couldnt even sleep. I just wanted to see shuichi again. And then scole him..

After the two days passed me, kaito and everyone else made our way to the airport. I almsot couldnt stand still. I felt like a child who was waiting for a christmas gift.
After we arrived we all waited at the Station where he should arrive any Minute or hour now. I waited and waited. Looking at the door like it wqs something special. And then a plane landed..i quickly stood up and after only some seconds i could see shuichi and his uncle coming out. My heatt stopped beating for a moment. But as soon as he saw me he started to smile and even go faster. Then i just ran to him. I put my arms around his neck and hugged him as tightly as i could. I buried my face into his neck and sighed deeply, trying hard not to cry. But as soon as he also put his arms around me some tears started to fall. But since ive buried my face into his neck, they all couldnt see it.

"I...I missed you." Shuichi said while holding me tightly against him.

"I missed you too."

After the hug ended i looked at him with  a serious expression and then slapped him. It was not a hard slaö but it still was one. He stared at me shocked.

"Thats what you get for not anwsering me.."

..he nodded and then just pulled me into another hug, wich suprised me, but also made me really happy. I buried my face into his chest this time and really had to control myself to not just kiss him. After a time we then broke our hug and turned to the others who were all looking at us with diffrent expressions.

"Eh anyway! Welcome bsck side kick!' Kaito said and shoved me aside for a moment to hug him. I pouted a bit and as soon as he saw me, he started laughing softly.

Gosh..how much i have missed that laugh....
I smiled at him softly before everyone else hugged him (expect for you know who).
We then all talked together for a while before everyone started walking to the taxi, expect for me and shuichi..

"Hey wait kichi. Lets not drive back to school yet."

"Huh?"

Shuichi smiled at me before look8mg at his uncle.

"Could you drive us to the Café?"

His uncle nodded happily and then leads me and shuichi to his car.

"Why are we going to a Café?? Is it a date?! No, no. It isnt." I thought to myself as my thoughts were going crazy.

After a time we then arrived at the Café. Shuichi smiled at me and we both went in, searching for a good place before sitting down in front of each other.

"So shu..why are we here?" I asked as i look at him with a smile.
"I..thought it would be a good apology.."

I smiled more and nodded before a waitress came to us and asked for our order. After we gave in our order, me and shuichi looked at esch other in silent for a moment before shuichi started to talk.

"How are you kichi?"
He asked with a really soft and gentle voice. I looked at him with a small smile while sucking in all the details of his beautiful face. His green-grey eyes, his long eylashes, his cheeks and his lips. I caught myself staring at his lips longer than i wanted. Even shuichi seemed to have noticed wich made my face go all red. "Uh i..Im fine."
