Chapter 24: love confusion

Shuichi pov:

I woke up really early. It was like 4 a.m or something, but well I don't really care about that. Right..I was going to meet Kaede today to help her with her feelings. I hope it's alright with kokichi, since well I kind of want to meet him today but well. I sighed and got up after lying in my bed for 4 hours. Me and Kaede we're gonna meet now, since it's weekend. As I opened the door a startled kokichi stood in front of me of it. My eyes widdened a bit and I smiled at him as he slowly handed me my..cap.

Kokichi: heh..I think it's about time I give it back to you..let's just say I always hid it from you. Heh, sorry!<3

I blushed a bit and took it. I thanked him and I don't know. He just looks so sleepy and it looks..so..so cute. He rubbed his eyes, yawned softly and smiled softly.

Kokichi: yeah, anywaaaay..bye now.

I nodded and waved my hand as a good bye. I then went to Kaede door, knocked on it and she let me in with a frustrated face.

Kaede: gosh!! Thank you so much for coming! I'm so so so so confused! And I can't take it anymoreee!!

I chuckled softly and we sat down at the table. I looked at her and thought about some ways of helping her. Since she isn't sure if she loves Rantaro I should help her to realize her true feelings. But to be honest I'm not sure if I'm the right person for that. I never was in love before, so I have one experience at all.

Shuichi: well..did you talk to Rantaro?

Kaede: No! I was too nervous. Also I don't even really know if I love him and you know that! It just has been awkward between us and it annoys me! Like, a LOT!

Shuichi: I know, I know...well okay then let's start thinking. You and Rantaro have been friends for..4 years now. Sometimes you get confused if you like him in that way. Well let's just say he loves you. What would you think? Would you be happy, confused or embarrassed?

Kaede:..well..I would be happy I guess. Rantaro would be a great boyfriend. He's caring and kind..also looks good I guess. I wouldn't mind being with him.

Shuichi:..so? Didn't that just answer your question?

Kaede: huh?..wait..your actually right.

Shuichi: everytime you talk about him you smile and now you even said you wouldn't mind being with him, so I would say you love him

Kaede:...I guess your right. It's just..I'm scared ya know? What if I ruin everything? What if I ruin our friendship?

Shuichi: I don't think that will happen..you always assume the worst. I'm sure he likes you back..the way he looks at you just says it.

I took a glass of water and drank from it while she suddenly realized it. She started to smile and jumped up.

Kaede: really?? Well...then I'm gonna confess to him!

Shuichi: see? I'm happy I was there to help you.

Kaede: Yes! Thank you so much..well but since you here. When are you planning to confess to kokichi?

I blushed a lot and coughed out the water. I looked at her flustered and shook my head.

Shuichi: I-I don't even know what you mean. He is my friend nothing mo-

Kaede:..Kaito told me what you told him...

I stopped and looked at her for some seconds, before I looked to the side embarrassed.

Shuichi:...I just said that out of nowhere..I..i didn't mean it, it was just..Kaito talked so stupid..so..so I just said it..

Kaede:..shuichi, I know that's a lie. Your not good at lying..so...come on. We know each other since kindergarten..
