Worry

Nika's pov

I was in my own zone in the locker room for a while so I kinda lost track of the conversation. I looked up finally breaking the zone out "Y'all we can go to Shane's dorm she gave me keys in case she couldn't get the door or showering or stuff like that" Paige said but I couldn't help but think about what Aubrey said about her ex. I mean sure I didn't have much to worry about I knew some shit was going on with me and Shane but still it is really frustrating to have possible 'competition'. "Yeah I'm down" Azzi said and they all waited for my answer "Huh? Yeah sure" I said and they didn't pay much attention to my lack of communication. We slowly gathered our things and made our way outside although I stayed behind them getting back to my own world. Anyways we all got in Paige's car and headed to the dorm complex. We walked in silence since we were all pretty tired so no one had much of a talking mood. We got in and placed our things on the floor. I looked around trying to find her figure but she was nowhere in my eyesight. "Where is she?" Azzi asked and Paige looked around. She went to her room and when she came back she said "she's sleeping guys let's just be quiet okay?". We all agreed cause we knew she was pretty tired these days for some reason. I excused myself to the bathroom and said I would take a quick shower as I knew from the last time where the extra towels were. I got in and let the cold water fall upon my skin making me tremble at first but then it's calming effect got to me. My mind was cloudy all day and I couldn't seem to get out of it. I opened my eyes as I placed shampoo on my head and started rubbing slowly. I then decided to look around the room for every possible detail I had left out from the previous time I was here. Yet I couldn't find anything changed or something I hadn't noticed before. I rinsed off and got out of the tub standing in front of the full body mirror. I always was curious why would she have a full body mirror in the bathroom but I wouldn't dare to ask. Cause I wasn't ready for the answer. I put on my change of clothes I had with me before putting my clothes in the washing machine and headed to the living room. Azzi and Paige were already discussing Shane's situation and I quietly observed what they said. "Have y'all noticed she has been  a bit distant too or that she is very tired at times?" I asked and they both agreed. They said it was really odd that she was more tired than usual and that she would never sleep in the middle of the day this much before. Everything was kinda strange cause she has been a bit sick as well lately and being tired for a long time isn't exactly good now. I don't know what's going on with her. Paige  sure knew something was wrong but she wouldn't tell us. I could see it in the way she handled the situation and the fact that she was staying so calm said much. I decided not to pay attention to her and talked with Azzi for a while and Paige went inside to make some coffee "So is there something that concerns you about her or just in general those things we have already said?" She asked and I thought about it for a bit. "I mean yeah it's pretty much what we said. She seems tired all the time and she often gets dizzy or has morning sickness. It is pretty concerning if you ask me" I said and Azzi agreed with me. I let out a sigh and my thoughts about the girl came back. Why would she not tell me she texted a girl. We weren't even a thing. Hell we haven't even kisses yet. I don't know what to think right now. I just hope it isn't something more than just some random girl. I mean probably she has slept with her but I don't want her to be more than just a fuck. I hope I am not crazy. I am not asking for much. Am I? As if on que when I finished my thought we heard Shane run to the bathroom. I pointed towards her and looked at Azzi as we both nodded while Paige was in the balcony talking to the phone. Moments later Shane entered the living room as she took a quick scan. "Good morning y'all" she said seriously ignoring her previous state that we all heard. "Girl what it's 7 pm" Azzi said and Shane just shrugged. I was seriously getting worried about the girl. She went into the kitchen and grabbed an apple before she got back and sat next to me flashing me a smile. I blushed and looked away as she just laughed before taking a bite from the apple. Me and Azzi talked about other things whole Shane was just sitting there observing. After quiet some time Azzi decided to see what Paige was doing and left us alone. "I need to talk to you" she whispered and at first I was a bit confused but we could also not have a conversation here cause someone could easily be eavesdropping or listening by mistake so we didn't want to risk that now especially if I don't know what she wants to talk about. "Right now?" I asked and she nodded with pleading eyes. "Fine. Wait. Guys! We're going to the store did y'all want anything?" I shouted and they said no. I let out a sigh and looked at Shane dead in the eyes before signaling for her to follow me. We got out of the dorm and waited untill we were out of the building to discuss her problem. "What's wrong?" I asked confused as we sat at a park nearby. "I might have slept with Aubrey's girl that I didn't know was her girl and might have broken them up but don't feel anything for her now. So basically I need your help cause otherwise Aubrey is going to hate my guts" she said quickly and my eyes widened. "I um I knew that Aubrey told me but she is not mad at you. Although that chick is crazy that's for sure" I said and she let out a breath. "thank the Lord. I don't care about her. Actually there is someone who is taking too much space in my life for me to care about some girl so yeah. I'm cooked" she explained looking nervously at her hands and I nodded. I really wanted to be that girl she was talking about. I really did. But I couldn't be sure of it. "listen I'll try to see what I can do but I don't make promises" I said and she smiled before she pulled me in a tight hug. "Thank you Niks. I don't know what I would do without you" she said and I chuckled before she pulled away. She didn't step aside though. She remained at her position making our faces be inches apart. She held strong eye contact with me before quickly her eyes dropping to my lips then back up to my eyes. I felt a small burn throughout my cheeks and looked away with a smile as I took a step back. "I have something else to tell you too" she said as she turned her back at me. Curiosity got the best of me and asked "Okay. What is it?". She looked at me back and seemed to think about how to say it. "the other day I was at practice and...I kinda passed out mid practice" she began and I froze listening to her. "And they took me to the hospital where they examined me and saw that I was working myself too hard" she continued a bit hesitant watching my every move. "So they said I shouldn't workout for about three weeks minimum" she finally said and sat down on the bench looking up at me waiting for my response "Well um. First off I'm glad that you're okay cause that is what matters most. So if it is for your own good then you better stay off the ice Brocker" I said and she let out a laugh. "u just wanted you to know that" she said and I nodded before we decided to head back to her dorm. We grabbed some things from the store so we could get out of the teasing from Azzi and Paige. As we got inside we placed the things on the counter but we noticed our two friends were nowhere to be found "Did they send you a message or something? They are not here" Shane asked coming to the kitchen. I checked my phone but I had no messages from either of them. "No not one of them sent me a text or called" I said frowning at my blank phone. Shane leaned back on the counter and seemed to be thinking about something. "Haven't they been acting weird lately? Always together and laughing and allover each other?" She asked looking at me puzzled. It's true they were closer than before lately. Their sleepovers have been increasing and they have been allover each other like they were a couple. Also Paige has been keeping way more secrets from me now than she ever did. It is clear she wants to hide something I just didn't know what... "Yeah they have been acting pretty weird not gonna lie. Do you think there's something going on between them?" I asked curious and she shrugged in response. "I don't know. I mean in my opinion they have always had an attraction towards the other. They are literally each other's types. So it wouldn't surprise me if something happened between them two" she said and I nodded agreeing. "Is it hot in here all of a sudden?" She asked and before I could respond she took her shirt off and threw it to the couch. I looked at her shocked before my eyes wandered off to her abs. Oh my god these abs would be the death of me. The delicate lines the smooth layout everything about them drove me insane. She had a small tattoo on her hip. A word I didn't quite read it but it was adding a lot as a detail to her whole body. "Muhl you're not hiding much what you're doing. Just so you know" she said getting me out of my trance. I looked back up at her and she had a very visible smirk on her lips. "Sorry what did you say?" I asked not quite hearing her the first time. She just chuckled and said nothing in response. We sat there talking about everything else while I observed her body from time to time. I knew she noticed I just didn't care enough to stop. And I knew she enjoyed every bit of it.

Hi my cutie patootiesss. I hope you all are doing great. I thank the Lord that I have patience and that the people on my new team are welcoming so that's good. Although there is one girl who doesn't really like me and I don't know why but anyways we don't care about her. Y'ALL I have a BIG plot twist so stay tuned cause shit about to get messy...
