Nika's pov

Saturday night. Almost a week since I've talked to Shane and i was as miserable as it gets. "Ay yo twin we going partying tonight. I ain't hearing no's i just wanna let you know ill be back in an hour and i want you ready" paige said without letting me speak. I sighed as i was sure i didn't have any chances of not going so i just nodded. She gave me a wide smile and told me she was going to Azzi's before we left. I got up and got in for a quick shower. I let the water fall upon me and closed my eyes trying to clear my head. Soon enough i got out and went towards my bedroom to see what i should wear tonight. I was feeling like a dress could be a good idea. I went through tons of outfits and ended up with a black strapless dress that hugged my curves perfectly. "Nika we're back!" I heard Azzi shout as i was finishing my make up "I'm coming in a sec!" I shouted back and heard an 'okay' from the living room. I put on some lipstick and went inside. "How do i look?" I asked genuinely cause lately with shane away my confidence has vanished. "Extraordinary and ready to get laid. Honestly i think that's what you need right now" Azzi said and i chuckled at her tone. "Alright ladies are y'all ready to party?" Paige asked and me and Azzi both said "YEAH". I was trying to match the vibe as much as possible cause I have to get over shane at some point. We all got in the uber paige had gotten us and we made our way to the house the party was being hosted at. Once we were inside i got separated from paige and azzi and went to grab a drink. I got a beer and i sat down at a stool in the kitchen observing from afar the dancing and all the make outs in this building. Four drinks and two tequila's later a girl really similar to shane approached me slowly. I didn't acknowledge her until she came to eye level with me. "Hi there. I see you're here by yourself. How come such a pretty girl like you is alone?" She asked and honestly girl that's what I'm asking but Shane isn't coming back apparently. "Well i don't know you tell me. I'm Nika. What's your name?" I asked. Me and Shane never had something exclusive so why not have fun now that i can. "I'm Jenna. So nika would you care for a dance?" She asked being bold with a smug grin on her face. She held out her hand for me and for once i didn't think about my actions. I took her hand and led her to the dancefloor. We started swaying our hips to the bit together holding eye contact while her hands were on my waist and mine were on her shoulders. She had pretty large shoulders and a tall figure. She was like Shane. I thinks that's why i was talking to her in the first place. Poison from brent faiyaz started playing and we slow danced to the song. I could see her leaning in a bit. A wicked smile on her face while she looked me up and down. My head was crowded with thoughts. Too many thoughts. So you know what i did? I grabbed her by the neck and pulled her in for a kiss. She gladly accepted and we started making out in the middle of the dancefloor. Things got heated pretty quickly which made her pull away and lead us to a corridor. She pinned me harshly against the  wall which made me hurt my head and i bit my lip before she smashed her lips on mine with force. Her lips were rough and her movements eager. She didn't care about being gentle with me. Shane would never do something like that. Shane. I really shouldn't be doing this. Why am i being like this? My thoughts were too loud to understand that this girl was grabbing me tightly by the ass while her other hand was on my breasts messily. Suddenly i felt uncomfortable and a really unsettling feeling came over me. I knew i should end it right away. I pulled away and she frowned. "I'm sorry i have to go" i said trying to leave but she blocked my way out. "Do you really? We were having fun" she said trying to pull me in by the waist again with a now disgusting smile. "Yes i really need to leave. Sorry" i said but she still wouldn't budge. Panic got a hold of my brain but i tried not to show it. She started forcefully kissing down my neck while i tried to get her off of me. "GET OFF OF ME" I tried shouting but to no avail. The loud music prevented every chance i ahd of someone hearing me. A tear of disappointment rolled down my cheek as i understood what was about to happen. "SHUT UP. You know you like it" she said shouting a bit as well and continued harassing me. Next thing i knew she was pinned to the wall with a hand wrapping around her neck blocking her way to breath. Grip strong and determined. I have seen this hand before. I surely have seen that tattoo. "SHE SAID GET OFF HER YOU PUNK" A familiar voice echoes loudly in the corridor. "Yo dude I'm sorry i didn't know she was yours! We were just having fun!" Jenna pleaded making me scoff. "Get up and get the fuck outta here. Don't make me see your face again near a woman while acting like that" she said and Jenna left almost running away. My head was down tears streaming down my face. A hand softly made me look up and when i realised who it was i just started crying like there was no tomorrow. Shane wrapped her hands around me while i cried because of what had happened and because she was finally back and already protecting me. "Where h-have you-u been?" I said in between cries and she just hugged me tighter. "I'm sorry i left you like that sweetheart. It's okay now I'm here" she said calming me down a bit. "Wanna get outta here?" She asked and i nodded in her chest. She picked me up bridal style and walked outside the house while i was crying in the crook of her neck. She sat me down in the passenger seat of her car and went to the other side. Once she got in she waited for me to calm down a bit while caressing ny head softly. As my cries died down she started the car and called someone. "Hey we're heading back. Y'all good?" She asked and after a minute she hung up. "Do you want to pick the songs we're hearing untill we get to the dorms?" She asked. I nodded slowly and she smiled and gave me her phone as she drove off. I put on some Kendrick to ease up my nerves a bit. Shane surely seemed to like it since she hummed the lyrics while making a turn. Her hand staying still at my leg trying to calm me down while her thumb moved up and down softly. Once we got to the dorm complex she came and opened my door helping me out and giving me her jacket cause it was cold outside and i was with a dress so yeah. She didn't hurry me into saying what happened. She respected my silence. She helped me as much as she could. Physical contact from her was all i needed right now. She put her hand on my back and led me to our room. Well her room but you already know i was practically living there for the last couple of days. We got inside adn i gave her the jacket. She kneeled down in front of me in the couch and patted her leg signalling for me to give her my leg so she could take my heels off. She slowly removed my heels and placed a kiss in each leg once the heel was off. She grabbed them and went inside putting them in their place which of course she knew already. I was too shocked and both angry at her actions because she hasn't even talked about literally vanishing off of the planet earth for three weeks and she now comes here and saves me from getting raped. I wanted yo be mad at her but honestly how could i after this? "Go get changed honey" she said softly and that's exactly what I did. I got changed into some greyish sweatpants and a big hoodie that she had given me and came back to the living room. She changed into dome sweats and a tank top and was sitting where the couches united and formed a T waiting for me. I sighed looking at this view. I have honestly missed her so much. I just can't understand why she disappeared like that. She opened the blanket and signalled me to get in her arms. Needless to say i ran to her arms and sat on her lap hugging her tightly. I nevwr wanted to let go. I could hear her breathing as she caressed my back softly trying to calm me down. I burried my head in the crook of her neck inhaling a big amount of her scent making sure to memorize every bit of it. "You're okay baby. I'm here now. I won't let anyone hurt you again. Ever." She said lowly in my ear. She made me look at her and a tear streamed down my face. She quickly wiped it away and kissed ny cheek. "Don't nake promises you can't keep" i told her and leaned in to her hug placing my head on her chest listening to her now rapid heartbeat. I placed my hand on top of where hed heart is supposed to be "it's okay. I'm not mad at you. Or at all. I just want to know sometime what happened and why you had to leave like that and disappear of the face of the earth. No lies. Just honest answers.Whenever you feel ready. No pressure" i said and heard her sigh loudly. I caressed her skin showing her some sympathy. She said an 'okay' and we both stayed silent until sleep consumed us. We needed the silence but also the presence of eachother. So we didn't talk. We just sat there just enjoying that we were back together.
