"Juan Theodore Valcarcel... Miss?" he offered me his hand with a soft grin on his lips. Smile pressed on my lips trying to shake my head. "Or am I mistaken?
"You sure know each other?
I am very satisfied with the outcome.
"Yes. Miss Higuera here. Thank you for letting us use your institution to boost the sales," pagsakay ko sa kanya.
His grin went wider. "Of course, basta ikaw... Miss Higuera." he answered in a flirtatious tone.
I bit my lower lip and gave him a warning look. Doon niya lang binitawan ang kamay ko.
"I'm at work." I mouthed to him when I was called by another visitor again.
He pouted his lips and nodded. He pointed at his phone before I turned my back on him. I try to nod back before walking away. I spent another thirty minutes talking to investors, other business owners na gustong makipag-trabaho sa akin.
Juan:
Go to my office when you're done.
I think that's his Dad's solution to cage him whenever he wanders here and bothers other workers.
I held the door handle and turned it. Cold air welcomed me and the lights were already on. In my long emerald dress, I went inside and closed the door behind me. When he heard the door closing his eyes went immediately to me.
"You didn't reply." sambit niya agad habang papalapit ako.
I stood beside him and smiled, I placed my hand on the side of his face, he tilted his head and it's weight in my hand.
"Are you tired?" he asked gently.
I chuckled. "You looked more tired." pansin ko dahil siya ang nakaupo kanina pa.
Umiling ito at mabilis na tumayo, in a split second he's already towering over me. "I'm not. But I am hungry." bawi nito, natawa ako. "What about you?" he wrapped his arms around me and tilted his head to see my face clearly.
"Medyo. Hindi ka ba kumain kanina sa party?"
"Not that much." he muttered and kissed my temple. "I'll cook for us. Is your work here done?"
Tumango ako.
"Let's get out of here." he whispered and I laughed softly.
His place was very opposite to mine, my condo was covered with white walls and woods, his house was filled with sleek and dark interior.
