Scanlan was the first to step through. However, he suddenly realized that he was falling forward, holding tightly onto a root.

Scanlan blinked as he looks down at the long drop, "Oh sh!t!" he mutters before looking up at the portal as the others were coming through. "Guys, stop! No, no, no! Don't step through!" he tried to warn them.

However his warning fell on deaf ears as everyone screamed as they plummeted. The ground approaching quickly. "Pike grab my claw!" Keyleth calls out as she reaches for the gnome.

"Wait, what?" Pike questions as she grabs onto Keyleth.

The druid shifts into a giant eagle and Pike falls onto her back as Keyleth flew towards the twins. "Gods, I hope she catches us!" Vex mutters as Keyleth grabs hold of the twins.

Fenrir who was on Lydie's shoulder breaks free. Without hesitation, Lydie turned Fenrir into a giant crow and dives right for the falling sorceress and cleric, grabbing hold on their waists with his claws before descending slowly.

Percy and Scanlan were screaming as the ground was getting very close.

"The Landing's gonna be a bit rough. But I'll save our asses with some butt stuff!"

Scanlan sang as he conjures an illusion and both bounced on them. Percy blinks at Scanlan. "Before I met you, I would've found this very upsetting." he informs him, propping himself up. Scanlan grins at the gunslinger, but they hear a loud scream from up ahead as Grog and Trinket fell fast. Once they impacted, Percy and Scanlan fell toward the ground.

Keyleth in her eagle form sets the twins down on their feet, landing on a boulder before shifting into her half elf form. Fenrir did the same as Lydie shifted him back into a squirrel.

Phoebe pants for a moment, grabbing her chest to steady her breathing, "Thank you for the save." she spoke, panting in between words.

"Don't mention it." Lydie replied, seemingly out of breath herself.

Grog grunts and the others looked at him. Struggling for a moment, stuck between the two butt-cheek illusions, and pulls himself straight up. He grins and pats the cheeks. "Good thing these titties were here." he states.

Lydie snickered to herself, Scanlan and Axel grinned at him, while the others looked at him with grim looks. Grog blinks at them, "What?"

Keyleth pants as she looks up to where the tree was. "Okay, that was not my fault. I told Keeper Yennen I have to know the tree. I mean, she was so vague."

"Hey, don't beat yourself up. We're here, and we're alive. That's all that matters." Lydie reassured Keyleth.

"Thanks." Keyleth said, though her tone was tinged with sadness.

Pike then turned her attention to the horizon, "Whoa." she said in awe, jumping down from the boulder. "You guys.." she starts, walking past the twins as everyone walks towards the edge of the cliff. "We made it!" she states as the look out at the city before them.

"Is that Vassem... Uh..... Vagil....." Grog asked trying to remember the name.

"Vasselheim, Tats." Lydie spoke.

"Our only chance." Pike added as she exhales.

The road was crowded with a line of people waiting to get into the city. Phoebe's eyes scanned the people behind her. Seeing some giving her cold stares, some murmuring amongst themselves. Although she could hear what they were saying she knew why they were here. Her heart began to ache replaying the scene back at Emon. But she had to be resolute, if she wanted to save Emon from the Chroma Conclave.
