It is Saturday afternoon, the members of Seventeen were out to celebrate their latest successful album. The fans were thrilled, the food stalls were lively, and the atmosphere was electric.

Vernon was particularly excited. He loved street food, and today was the perfect day to indulge. With his bandmates by his side, he was ready to sample everything from spicy rice cakes to fluffy pancakes drizzled with syrup.

"Hey, Vernon, check this out!" DK called out, holding up a skewer of what looked like grilled chicken.

Vernon grinned and gave a thumbs-up. "Looks great hyung! But I'm heading over to that stall for some of those dumplings."

"Good choice!" Joshua chimed in. "Those dumplings are famous around here."

Vernon made his way through the crowd to the dumpling stall. The vendor was a friendly older woman who had been serving up delicious food for years.

"Hi there!" Vernon said with a smile. "I'd like an order of dumplings, please."

The vendor nodded and handed him a small container. "Enjoy!"

Vernon eagerly took his first bite. The dumplings were filled with a savory mixture of meat and vegetables, and they were delicious. He didn't realize that his enjoyment would be short-lived.

As he reached for his second dumpling, he noticed a small bowl of peanut sauce next to the container. Without thinking much of it, he dipped his dumpling into the sauce and took a big bite.

A few moments later, Vernon's face began to change. His mouth felt unusually tingly, and he started to feel a bit dizzy. He brushed it off, attributing it to the excitement of the day.

"Hey, Vernon, you okay?" Jeonghan asked, walking over with a few snacks of his own.

Vernon forced a smile. "Yes hyung, I'm fine. Just a little... off."

Jeonghan looked at him with concern. "You don't look so good. Maybe you should sit down for a minute."

Vernon nodded and found a nearby bench to sit on. As he did, he noticed that his skin was becoming flushed, and his breathing was getting a little labored.

"Is it getting worse?" Seungkwan asked, joining the group with a worried expression.

"I think so," Vernon replied, trying to stay calm. "I'm feeling kind of dizzy, and my throat feels scratchy."

"Let's get you some water," Woozi suggested urgently.

As they tried to help him, Vernon's condition continued to worsen. His face was swelling, and his eyes were starting to water. The group's worry was palpable.

"Guys, I think he's having an allergic reaction," Joshua said, his voice filled with concern.

"Are you allergic to peanuts?" DK asked, trying to recall if Vernon had mentioned anything about allergies before.

Vernon shook his head weakly. "I didn't know... I've never had a reaction before."

"We need to get him to a hospital," Jeonghan said firmly, grabbing his phone to call for an ambulance.

As the rest of the members stayed by Vernon's side, trying to keep him calm, the situation became increasingly urgent. The ambulance arrived quickly, and the paramedics began to attend to him.

"Vernon, hang in there," Woozi said, holding his hand. "We're going with you."

The ride to the hospital was a blur of flashing lights and worried faces. The members stayed close to Vernon, whispering words of encouragement and trying to keep his spirits up.

At the hospital, Vernon was quickly wheeled into the emergency room. The members were left waiting anxiously in the waiting area.

"I can't believe this happened," DK said, pacing back and forth. "He seemed so healthy before."

"I know," Joshua agreed. "We should have been more careful. We need to check labels more thoroughly."

Hours passed, and the anxiety was almost unbearable. Finally, a doctor came out to speak with them.

"Is he going to be okay?" Seungkwan asked immediately.

"Yes, he's stable now," the doctor reassured them. "He had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts, but we were able to administer the appropriate treatment in time. He's resting now and should be fine, but he'll need to stay for observation."

The members let out a collective sigh of relief. "Can we see him?" Jeonghan asked.

"Yes, but only a few at a time," the doctor replied. "He's still recovering, so keep your visit short."

One by one, the members went in to see Vernon. He was lying in a hospital bed, looking tired but relieved to see his friends.

"Hey, Vernon," Jeonghan said softly, taking a seat next to his bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Better hyung," Vernon said, his voice hoarse. "Thanks for coming with me. I didn't expect this at all."

"We were worried sick," Woozi said, sitting on the other side of the bed. "You had us all scared."

"I'm sorry hyung," Vernon said weakly. "I didn't know I had an allergy. I guess I should have asked before eating."

"It's not your fault," DK said. "It's a good reminder for all of us to be more careful with what we eat. We'll make sure to check everything from now on."

As the other members came in and offered their support, Vernon felt a great sense of relief. Despite the scare, he knew he wasn't alone. His friends were there for him, and that made all the difference.

Hours later, Vernon was finally allowed to leave the hospital. The members made sure he was comfortable and took him home, where they set up a cozy spot for him to rest.

"Thanks for everything, guys," Vernon said, looking around at his friends. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"You don't have to worry about that," Seungkwan said with a smile. "We're always here for you."

As they settled in for the evening, the mood was lighter, though the memory of the day's events lingered. Vernon promised himself he would be more cautious in the future, but for now, he was just grateful to be back with his friends and safe at home.

The next day, the members gathered in the practice room, and Vernon, though still a bit tired, was in good spirits. The incident had served as a wake-up call for everyone, and they were all determined to be more mindful moving forward.

"Hey, let's get back to practicing," Hoshi suggested. "We've got a lot to prepare for."

The group nodded in agreement, ready to get back to work. They knew they had each other's backs, no matter what challenges came their way. And with that, they dived back into their routines, stronger and more united than ever before.
