The sun barely peeked through the curtains as Woozi rolled out of bed, rubbing sleep from his eyes. It was 6 AM, and the day was already calling him. The familiar sound of his alarm buzzed softly in the background, mingling with the faint echo of music from his studio.
"Hyung, let's get breakfast before practice!" a voice called from the living room.
Woozi smiled at the sound of Dino's enthusiasm. He quickly got dressed, glancing at the clock as he made his way downstairs.
"Good morning, Woozi hyung!" shouted Seungkwan, already at the table with a plate piled high with toast. "Did you even sleep last night?"
"I slept enough," Woozi replied, grabbing a slice of toast. "Just finished working on a new track."
"See? This is what I'm talking about!" Jeonghan chimed in, shaking his head playfully. "You need to take breaks. You can't keep burning the candle at both ends."
"It's fine, I promise," Woozi said with a reassuring smile. "I love what I do."
As they gathered around the table, the rest of the members trickled in, exchanging sleepy greetings and jokes. Soon, they headed to the practice room, where the atmosphere shifted from casual to intense.
"Alright, everyone! Let's focus today!" Hoshi clapped his hands, leading the group into their routine. As he demonstrated the choreography, he felt the familiar rush of adrenaline. The members followed his lead, their synchronization improving with each beat.
After hours of practice, they finally wrapped up, panting and laughing.
"Great job, team!" Hoshi beamed.
Woozi glanced at the time. It was already past 5 PM.
"Hyung, you're not going back to the studio, are you?" Dino asked, concern etching his face.
"I'll just finish a few things," Woozi replied, already headed for the door. "I'll be home by midnight."
"Not again!" Hoshi exclaimed. "You always say that, and then it's 2 AM when we hear you coming back!"
"I'll be fine," Woozi insisted, his tone light but firm. "I'll see you all later."
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Woozi found himself back in his studio, surrounded by the warmth of familiar sounds. He turned on the equipment, lost in the rhythm of his work. Each note he crafted brought him satisfaction, but the clock kept ticking, reminding him of his friends waiting at home.
"Alright, just one more chorus," he murmured to himself, fingers dancing over the keyboard.
Suddenly, his phone buzzed. It was a group chat message from the members.
Seungkwan: Woozi hyung, it's almost midnight! Please come back soon!
Dino: We're worried!
Jeonghan: You know you can take a break, right? We'll still be here tomorrow!
Woozi smiled at the messages but felt a pang of guilt. He typed back quickly.
Woozi: Just finishing up! I'll be home in a bit. Promise!
He turned back to his work, but the music in his headphones began to fade as fatigue crept in. With a deep breath, he saved his progress, stretched, and stood up, deciding it was finally time to go home.
As he stepped out into the cool night air, he felt a sense of peace. The city lights twinkled around him, but his heart raced at the thought of his members waiting.
When he arrived home, he was greeted by a chorus of relieved sighs.
"Woozi!" Hoshi exclaimed, jumping up from the couch. "You're late again!"
