Hello, joon_bean! Here is your request, I hope you'll like it!
The studio was alive with the sound of pounding music and the rhythm of footsteps as Seventeen rehearsed for their upcoming comeback. They moved in perfect sync, their energy palpable as they executed the complex choreography.
Mingyu, in the center, was giving it his all. As the music hit a peak, he executed a spin, but suddenly felt a sharp pain around his belly button. He paused for a brief second, his breath catching in his throat, but shrugged it off. "Just a cramp," he thought, and forced himself to focus.
"Hey, Mingyu! You good?" Joshua called out, noticing the slight falter in his movements.
"Yeah hyung, just a little tired!" Mingyu replied with a grin, trying to mask the discomfort. He joined back in, pushing through the sensation, but it lingered like a shadow.
As the choreography continued, the group broke into a brief moment of laughter after a botched formation. "We need to get our timing right, or we're going to be the 'Seven-teen'!" DK joked, and the others erupted into laughter.
"Okay, okay! Focus!" Hoshi chimed in, rolling his eyes playfully. "Let's take it from the top again!"
Mingyu nodded, forcing himself to concentrate. As they began the sequence anew, the pain flared again, sharper this time. He grimaced but continued to dance, determined not to disrupt the flow.
"Hey, Mingyu hyung, you sure you're okay?" Seungkwan asked, glancing over with concern. "You look a little off."
"I'm fine! Just... you know, working on my abs," Mingyu laughed, trying to deflect the worry. "Gotta look good for the fans, right?"
"More like you need to work on your 'not collapsing'," Hoshi teased, smirking. "But seriously, if you need a break-"
"I said I'm fine!" Mingyu cut in, his tone sharper than he intended. He quickly softened his expression. "Sorry, just-let's keep going, okay?"
The members exchanged concerned looks but nodded, returning to the routine. As they reached the climax of the choreography, Mingyu felt the pain spike again, and he stumbled slightly, catching himself before he fell.
"Whoa!" Jeonghan exclaimed, eyes widening. "You really okay, Mingyu?"
"Just... a little dizzy hyung," Mingyu admitted, though he didn't want to show how much the pain was bothering him. "Let's push through."
"Maybe we should take a break," Wonwoo suggested, his voice low but firm. "It's not worth it if you're not feeling well."
"No, I'm good. Let's finish this!" Mingyu insisted, but the tension in the room was rising. The music started again, and he braced himself, determined to not let his teammates down.
As the dance continued, the pain pulsed in rhythm with the beat, a constant reminder of his limits. He glanced at the others, their faces focused and full of passion, and felt a pang of guilt for even thinking of stopping.
"Just a little longer," he whispered to himself, forcing a smile as he pushed through the discomfort.
After their intense practice, the members of Seventeen headed to a nearby restaurant, laughter and chatter filling the air as they settled around the table. Mingyu, however, felt the ache around his belly button intensify, and he forced himself to put on a brave face.
"Guys, I'm starving!" Hoshi exclaimed, rubbing his hands together eagerly. "I can't wait to dive into this!"
"Same! I've been dreaming about that spicy chicken!" DK chimed in, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
