Maybe it was the way they didn't text much.

Or the way that they had a three month break from one another after a bad argument.

Or how they both tried to date other people.

Or maybe it was all of those things combined that helped the both of them realize how much they loved each other.

The way that held each other and pieced one another back together after breaking.

The way they'd listen to each other and wipe their tears off of their red cheeks.

It was obvious that there was no else in this world meant for them more than each other.

They were different by all means.

But that's what made them stick.

I mean, a puzzle can't be solved if all the pieces were identical.

And both boys knew they were each other's missing puzzle piece as they helped Soobin move into Yeonjun's home- their home in Yangyang.

They had both changed a lot.

Yeonjun was more muscular as a result of training at his friends boxing gym. His hair was shaved into an undercut, still pitch black. His smile wasn't as bright. But that's the cost of being an adult.

Soobin was skinner-a bit too skinny. His hair was back to black, however it wasn't as soft as it used to be. His eyes had less sparkle. But that's the cost of being an adult.

They both had new things to learn about each other after three years long distance.

Maybe Yeonjun didn't like eggs with his ramen anymore.

Maybe Soobin preferred cooking instead of baking now.

They didn't know.

But they'd figure it out as long as they were together.

After a week of living together Soobin started therapy.

It was mentally and physically draining for him to cry as much as he did during the sessions but Yeonjun would always care for him. Whether that be lots of cuddles and naps, ordering ice cream or...other things-he always took care of his love.

Six months into living together the couple signed up for the military. Yeonjun couldn't wait to see Soobin bald. Soobin was convinced he'll get the ick from a bald Yeonjun. (He surprisingly would love the buzz cut on his boyfriend.)

A year into living together Soobin was sat in front of his phone.
