Jungkook blinked his eyes, staring at the ceiling. He couldn't believe he spent the whole class period staring at the guy who couldn't see.
"What's wrong with me? Have I gone mad?" Jungkook wondered, scratching his hair, feeling annoyed and confused. He wasn't someone to focus on classes anyway; he didn't care about studies. He'd always sleep in class, but today he didn't sleep. Instead, he spent the entire hour staring at the beautiful face with fuse lights of their school. It was truly unbelievable.
Jungkook leaned against the wall of the classroom as he waited for Jin to finish packing his bag. "Let's go," Jin said with a smile as Jungkook nodded, and they walked out of the class. Jungkook silently walked behind him, not sure what to do or say. He held his school bag over his shoulder, walking lazily.
"Jungkook."
He felt it again. That weird sensation whenever Jin called him by his name. He couldn't seem to figure out what it was.
"What happened?" Jungkook asked.
"I- If you don't mind, we c-can walk to my house, then I can make you something to drink or eat as a thank you."
"Thank you for what?"
"F- for the chips."
"Seriously, there's no need for that for a bag of chips. That's silly," Jungkook said, making Jin pout. "Nevertheless, walking isn't a bad idea. Let's go," Jungkook said as he walked further, making Jin confused as he seemed to lose the sense of direction. Jungkook could guess it. He sighed and took Jin's hand, leading the way, while Jin smiled and followed back.
Jungkook, after reaching Jin's house, realized that he didn't take his bike to get there. He had actually walked all the way. However, he ignored it as he walked into the house. It was small, with a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen and bathroom, of course.
"It may be small, i hope it's comfy. Please make yourself home," Jin smiled.
"Here, change your shoes. And sorry if there's any mess around. I didn't find time to clean up last night." Jin gave an awkward smile. His words confused Jungkook as he looked around to find the whole house super clean and neat. Jungkook had never seen any place this clean before, though. His place usually stays more messy. He hardly cleans it or makes the maids clean it.
"Sit down," Jin said. Jungkook nodded before sitting down on the small couch.
Not bad, Jungkook thought, as he found the couch soft and cozy. Jin smiled and said, "Okay then. I will go and make you something. Hmm, what do you want? Eat or drink?"
"Guess a drink will work," Jungkook replied, his eyes solely focused on a photo frame he saw on the TV stand. Jin nodded with a smile and went towards the kitchen.
Jungkook then stood up and walked closer towards the TV stand where the photo was placed. He kneeled down a bit and stare at the frame, It was Jin's photo, smiling widely with his eyes closed, his smile reaching his eyes, making Jungkook amazedly stare at him.
"Gosh, what am I doing?" Jungkook thought, snapping out of his thoughts as he backed away and moved his eyes away from the photo frame before looking around and going inside towards the kitchen.
"Jin?"
"Oh, Jungkook, wait a minute, it will be done by now," Jin said as he turned on the stove and began washing a glass to pour the drink he was making. Meanwhile, Jungkook just blinked his eyes and shockingly stared at Jin effortlessly doing everything so professionally with no problem.
Is he really blind or am I tripping? Jungkook wondered as he rubbed his eyes.
"I am blind, Jungkook, I am just used to knowing where everything is. Cooking is one of my habits even before I went blind, so I know where everything is placed, Don't worry, I am good at cooking; you won't have to eat anything burnt."
