As Jin nestled his face into Jungkook's neck, the warmth of his breath sent shivers down Jungkook’s spine. It wasn’t the first time Jin had held him like this, but tonight, something felt different—more intimate, more charged. Jin’s arms tightened around Jungkook, and the feeling of his soft skin brushing against him only stirred Jungkook’s emotions further.
"Do you wanna stay over tonight?" Jin suddenly asked, his voice soft, yet filled with an unexpected longing.
Jungkook’s lips curled into a small smirk as he chuckled softly. "Whoa," he teased, tilting his head slightly to get a better look at Jin’s face. "I thought you'd never ask."
The words came out in a low, playful whisper, but beneath them was an undeniable tension. Jungkook had been waiting for this—a moment where it was just the two of them, no distractions, no barriers. He could feel the subtle shift in the air between them, and it only made his grip on Jin tighten.
"I will," Jungkook finally answered, his voice thick with emotion. "I think you're tired. How about we get some sleep now?" he suggested, though his own heart was pounding faster with each second.
Jin nodded wordlessly, the exhaustion of the day starting to weigh on him, yet he didn’t pull away. Instead, he snuggled closer, his fingers clutching onto Jungkook’s shirt as if holding on for dear life. Jungkook shifted slightly, adjusting their position, and without a second thought, he wrapped Jin’s legs around his waist. The new closeness sent a jolt of electricity through both of them.
Jungkook's hand slid up, tangling gently in Jin’s soft hair, his fingers moving slowly, almost reverently. The air around them grew thick with tension, an intensity neither of them could quite escape. Jungkook knew he could never push Jin too far—not after what he had been through—but the way Jin clung to him now, so vulnerable, so trusting, made his heart race with possessive affection.
He laid Jin down gently on the bed, settling in beside him. Jin’s head rested on Jungkook’s chest, and Jungkook’s arms encircled him protectively, holding him as if he was the most precious thing in the world. The soft rise and fall of Jin’s breathing against him was almost hypnotic.
"You're safe with me," Jungkook whispered, his voice barely audible, but it carried the weight of a thousand promises.
Jin shifted slightly, his body pressing closer to Jungkook’s as he whispered back, "I know."
For a moment, everything felt perfect—Jin's warmth, the soft touch of his skin, the rhythm of their breathing in sync. But beneath the surface, Jungkook’s mind was still racing. He had Jin here in his arms, and he wanted nothing more than to keep him there forever. Every touch, every whispered word, felt like a tether tying them closer together.
His fingers traced lazy circles along Jin’s waist, the fabric of his hoodie rising just enough to expose the bare skin underneath. Jungkook’s breath hitched, his restraint slowly slipping. He wanted to feel more—more of Jin, more of the closeness they shared. But he knew he had to hold back. For Jin.
"Can I…?" Jungkook asked softly, his fingers stilling just at the hem of Jin’s hoodie. He didn’t need to finish the sentence for Jin to understand.
"You can," Jin murmured, his voice shaky, but there was trust in it—trust that Jungkook wouldn't break.
With that quiet permission, Jungkook’s hand slid beneath the fabric, his fingers brushing over the smooth skin of Jin’s back. The simple touch ignited something primal within him. But as soon as Jin’s body tensed, Jungkook stopped.
He swallowed hard, pulling Jin even closer but not moving any further. "It’s okay," he whispered, his voice soft yet firm. "I’m here. We’ll go slow… as slow as you need."
