"God, I am full, that was a great meal," Jungkook exclaimed, laying on the couch and rubbing his stomach, making Jin giggle.
"I can guess you liked the foods."
"Of course I did, who can deny such good foods? My stomach hurts now."
"If you feel too full, you can rest there, or if you want, you can take a nap in my room."
"Nah, I'm fine here. Are you going anywhere?"
"No, I have school work to do."
"Oh. You can go and do it. Let me calm my stomach," Jungkook casually said. Jin nodded before heading into his room to study.
As soon as Jin left, Jungkook let out a deep breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Gosh, why is it difficult when he is around?"
"Whatever," Jungkook took his phone and messaged Jimin.
"Jimin, we even ate together now what? I am over pretending his cooking was delicious," Jungkook typed, scoffing inwardly as if he felt a sharp pang. He wanted to pretend that he didn't like the food and was only acting, but was it true?
"What do you mean foods? Don't tell me he cooked for you and you acted like it was good just to impress him?" Jimin was fast to reply, and even though it was a message, Jungkook could feel his cousin was already fuming.
"Uhm yeah, wasn't I supposed to? It's annoying. Now what am I supposed to do then? We are going as slow as a tortoise. Gosh, it's been damn a week yet we made no progress. Give me some ideas," Jungkook scoffed while typing.
"You really are still on the bet?"
"So? If I am, for that freaking bet, I am here stuck! First day, what am I gonna do now? Should I first get to know his birthday? I forgot to ask it."
"Yes." There was a silence as Jungkook waited for another message. "Bye!"
Jungkook let out a sarcastic chuckle as Jimin only replied bye and went offline. Jungkook sighed before getting up and heading inside Jin's room to find him studying with earphones on.
"Jin, you listening?" Jungkook tapped his finger on Jin's shoulder, grabbing his attention.
"Oh yes, are you bored?"
"Yeah...can I accompany you?"
"Sure, grab a chair and sit down." Jin smiled and continued to write. Jungkook nodded.
"Uhh...Jin, when is your birthday?"
"4th December, why?"
"Just curious." Jungkook gave a smile before thinking. "When is your birthday?" Jin asked.
"Today." Jungkook blankly said, making Jin shocked.
"Huh? What, really?"
"Yeah. Nothing new," Jungkook replied, shrugging it off. Jin for a second stays silent, then suddenly stood up.
"Let's go out."
"Why?"
"I am a bit bored, aren't you bored?" Jin said, turning off his books.
Jungkook nodded, "Maybe a little."
"Then let's go." Jin smiled as he reached out his hand in front of Jungkook, who actually didn't take a second before holding his hand gently yet firmly.
"Where are we going?" Jungkook asked, confused.
"To eat." Jin casually replied, smiling.
