Jungkook held Jin close, his heart pounding with a mix of desperation and longing. The quiet of the room was heavy, filled only with the sound of their breathing. Jungkook's voice trembled slightly as he finally found the courage to speak, to ask for what he wanted more than anything in the world.
"Jin... can you give yourself to me? Give me a chance, and It'll be someone better for you... someone you'll like," Jungkook whispered, his grip tightening around Jin as if afraid he might slip away.
Jin's breath hitched at the question, and he could feel the intensity of Jungkook's emotions pressing against him. He hesitated, not because he didn't want to, but because of the overwhelming reality of what it would mean. But as he thought about it, his feelings came to the surface, the ones he had kept hidden for so long.
"Jungkook... I said I already do like you, from the very first," Jin responded softly, his voice shy but sincere.
Jungkook's heart skipped a beat, and he buried his face into Jin's neck, holding him even tighter. The thought of Jin slipping away from him, of losing him to anything or anyone else, ripped through Jungkook like a blade. The very idea was unbearable. He couldn't, wouldn't, let that happen.
"Then why can't you hand yourself to me? Just be mine, and I will take care of the rest," Jungkook pleaded, his voice low and filled with a fierce determination. "I swear you won't know how pain feel, these tears will never come, not from me or anyone. Anyone hurting you will face me... I'll take care of them well."
There was a dark, possessive edge to Jungkook's words, a hint of something dangerous lurking beneath his intense devotion. The last part, especially, came out with a tone that was almost creepy, an unspoken promise that anyone who dared to cause Jin even a moment of pain would learn what true suffering was. Jungkook would make sure of that.
But Jin, oblivious to the darker undercurrents of Jungkook's thoughts, smiled softly. His heart fluttered with the sincerity of Jungkook's love, even if he didn't fully grasp the depths of it. He took a deep breath, feeling a strange mix of fear and excitement at the thought of giving himself over completely.
"I- I think... I can," Jin whispered, his voice filled with uncertainty but also a hopeful warmth.
Jungkook's mind snapped back to the present, his obsessive thoughts momentarily cut off by Jin's words.
Jungkook froze as Jin's words sank in, his heart pounding in his chest. For a moment, he could hardly believe what he had just heard. Jin was agreeing, he was really saying yes. Jungkook's thoughts, which had been spiraling into dark, possessive territories, came to an abrupt halt. The obsession, the fear of losing Jin, everything melted away, leaving only a raw, overwhelming sense of relief and happiness.
He pulled back slightly to look at Jin's face, searching for any hint of hesitation or doubt. But all he saw was a shy smile, one that made his heart skip a beat. Jin wasn't running away. He wasn't pushing him aside. Instead, Jin was saying that he was willing to be with him, to take a chance on them, to give them a shot. Jungkook's breath caught in his throat.
"Wh-what do you mean?" he stammered, his voice trembling with disbelief.
Jin's smile widened a little, his cheeks tinged with a soft blush. "I just said yes to what you asked... Don't you want me anymore?"
The sheer innocence in Jin's question made Jungkook's chest tighten with emotion. He wanted to laugh, to cry, to hold Jin close and never let go. Jin had no idea how much this meant to him, how much he had feared losing him, how desperately he wanted him to stay by his side.
"Want you?" Jungkook's voice was thick with emotion as he spoke. "Jin, I've never wanted anything more in my life. You have no idea how much this means to me."
