Jungkook silently entered the classroom and saw Jin sitting casually, eating while listening to some lecture with his earphones on.
"Jungkook?" Jin's voice broke the silence.
"Y-yes," Jungkook stammered, trying to collect himself.
"Why are you standing there? Sit down. What happened?" Jin asked with his usual calm voice.
"I- uh, Jin, how about you go back today alone? I have somewhere to go," Jungkook blurted out.
"Oh, okay. No problem," Jin nodded with a smile.
He doesn't seem to care if I go or not, Jungkook silently wondered. No, wait. Why the hell do I care if he cares whether I go or not? What the hell is wrong with me?
After class ended, Jin took his leave. Jungkook stayed in the class, silently watching Jin leave using his cane.
Jungkook then noticed Minjun again, trying to approach Jin by walking towards him. Jungkook clenched his jaw and stood up, grabbing Minyun's shirt and pulling him towards him.
"Where do you think you're going?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows.
"J- Jungkook?" Minjun stammered, clearly taken aback.
"How dare you say my name, bastard!" Jungkook was furious, unable to control himself. He punched Minjun in the face before taking his bag and leaving.
He didn't know why he was so angry. The words of Jimin and the realization seemed to hit him hard. He couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it. It was something really annoying, and it annoyed him to death. Jin seemed to make him feel good but also annoyed him incredibly.
In order to prove these feelings wrong, Jungkook directly went to a bar to hang out and make out with people, trying to let go of his thoughts which were filled with Jin.
He tried to grab as many girls and guys who caught his eye to make out with them, but no matter how intense he was, he really couldn't forget Jin. He couldn't get him out of his mind. Especially when he was kissing a girl, all he could think about were Jin's plump lips. It shocked him to death.
He felt as if his whole world had turned around. He had never felt like this before. What was happening to him? Was this all... also because of the bet?

On the other side, Jin finished having a light dinner and went to bed. He put on his earphones and started listening to some stories. As he lay there, he realized it was a romantic story. The synopsis had said so too, and although he felt a bit bored, he thought it might be interesting to hear since he could not read.
Listening to the story made Jin smile. It was about true, pure love, something he could never find.
Love?
Yes, he had experienced that.
Once?
No, twice.
With two people?
No, just one, but it had left his heart, mind, and body, everything broken in the end.
Pure, true and innocent love was something Jin had always craved. Someone who would take care of him and someone he'd want to care for too, but his luck was never good. As he listened to the story, Jin suddenly thought of Jungkook. His face reddened at the memory.
"Don't think like that." Jin clapped his hands to his cheeks, trying to shake off the thoughts.
"What a luck... I don't even know what he looks like to dream about him." Jin smiled in pain as he settled down with his earphones.
