Chapter 31: Puppies and Mystery

When Aphmau was close to Kitty Island, she pulled out her Golden Lasso and put Thorgi in it.

Aphmau: " Sorry Thorgi, but it'll only for a bit so that Crazy Cat Lady doesn't scream at us again."

When Aphmau stepped foot on the shore, Mittens, who was still large, snarled at her for a moment before the Crazy Cat Lady came out of nowhere, throwing things at four different dogs.

The Crazy Cat Lady: " GET OUT OF HERE!! YOU MANGY, FLEA BAGS!!"

Aphmau: " What the?!"

The four dogs ran behind Aphmau, whimpering and covering their faces a bit, before Aphmau could do anything, the Crazy Cat Lady noticed her.

The Crazy Cat Lady: " Oh, it's you. Were you able to find a cure for my Mittens?"

Aphmau: " Yeah, here."

Aphmau handed over the bottle to the Crazy Cat Lady, she snatched it out of her hands and gave it to Mittens. Just seconds after he drank every drop, he went back to normal size.

The Crazy Cat Lady: " Mittens! Oh my sweet baby! You're back to normal! As for you, get off my island and take your dog with you."

Aphmau rolled her eyes and looked down at the dogs, still shaking by her side.

Aphmau: " What about these dogs?"

The Crazy Cat Lady: " I don't know. Some boat dropped them off here. I don't care what you do to the mangy things, just get them out of my sight."

Aphmau looked down at the four dogs, they started to calm down a bit and looked up at Aphmau. She let out a sight, jumped back on her boat and patted her side, telling them to join her. The four dogs lightened up and hopped up, circling Apphmau a bit while sniffing and licking her. Aphmau chuckled as she petted all the dogs, she brought out Thorgi, he and the other dogs circled each other, getting to know each other and it seems like they like each other. Aphmau smiled as she set sail again, but she was a bit worried, she had one dog just minutes ago and now she has five of them to take care of.

Aphmau: " Oh boy, I can't believe I took them in, but if I didn't, who knows what that Crazy woman would have done to them. She could have tossed them back into the ocean for all I know. I guess it won't hurt having more dogs to help and project home."

After giving Thorgi and the other dogs something to eat, she checked up on the other dogs, making sure that they weren't hurt, she then looked on their necks to find any collars, but there wasn't, they were all on their own.

Aphmau: " What happened to you all? Who would get rid of you?"

The four dogs whimpered, Aphmau pet all of them, they all wagged their tails and jumped on her. Aphmau laugh before getting them off of her, she looked at all of them, they were the same breed as Thorgi, but were easily able to tell them apart by their markings or pelt colors, and one of them was a girl.

Aphmau: " I'll have to get more collars and Golden Lassos later, but for now, I think I'll call you Phoenix. You Cookie. You Jiggy. And you Puma."

The dogs bark after Aphmau gave them a name to go by as she patted their heads, they all seem to like their new names. Thorgi's ear twitched and went over to the side of the boat, barking a bit to catch the other dogs and Aphmau's attention.

Aphmau: " What is it, Thorgi?"

Aphmau looked at where Thorgi was looking, it was a man wearing armor, a Guard. He looked a bit worried and protecting something. Aphmau looked back and forth for a moment, thinking to either see what's bothering the Guard or to go back to her main mission.
