Around an hour passed, Aphmau was looking around the house where she first met Barrett. She paced back and forth for a moment, trying to figure out what to do when she heard footsteps. Her dogs heard them as well and all became alert, but calmed down seeing a woman coming over. They barked a bit before circling the woman, sniffing her till Aphmau whistled.

Aphmau: " Hey, down. Sorry about that."

The Woman: " It's alright, I have never seen you before. Who may you be?"

Aphmau: " My name is Aphmau, and I'm investigating a case that took place here."

The woman's face lit up hearing that and got a bit closer.

The woman: " Really?! Thank Irene, bless you. My name is Joyce, and I am so grateful to see that someone is helping us in these dark times."

Aphmau: " Heh, yeah. Do you... know who died here or anyone else who fell victim?"

Joyce: " I'm not related to this victim, but he was a good man. His name was Atlas, he was a caring old man. He helped my father when he was an apprentice smith. He was... a very close family friend, you could even say he was part of the family."

Joyce wiped the tears forming in her eyes for a moment, Aphmau looked away before patting her arm a bit.

Aphmau: " I'm so sorry. Is there anything else you could tell me about him?"

Joyce looked at Aphmau, she took a deep breath and nodded.

Joyce: " Sorry, I didn't really know him that well as my father, but Atlas has a knack for studying. He was a very talented smith and would keep to himself often. He was known to drink and would sometimes.... Yell at others when he was drunk. BUT he never hurt anyone! And he would always come back to apologize for his actions."

Aphmau: " It's alright, it may not be a lot for you, but it's more than what I had before."

Joyce smiled and nodded. Aphmau looked inside and gasped seeing some blood inside.

Aphmau: " I uhhh... I think it might be best for you to not see the inside. It.... doesn't look good."

Joyce: " I was worried about that. Could you promise me something? Please, please find whoever's doing this and stop them. They already hurt so many people, I don't want them to suffer any more than they already had."

Aphmau was quiet, but she nodded. Joyce nodded slightly and picked her basket back up before leaving. Aphmau looked at the entrance of the house, she took a deep breath, and opened the door. It wasn't that bad as she first thought, but there was blood, mostly around the bed where Atlas slept. Thorgi and the other dogs went inside and sniffed around a bit, Jiggy found a few notes that Barrett left behind and brought them to Aphmau.

Notes: " Evidence #1- Victim was stabbed by a sharp object multiple times. Evidence #2- Anvil seemed to be slightly used. Evidence #3- It looked like some books were moved around."

Aphmau: " Hmmmm... Barrett said that two of the suspects were a blacksmith and a librarian. From the clues that are in the house, it does seem like they might have some sort of connection maybe. But I have to find the sharp object that could have been the murder weapon."

Puma looked at the table and jumped up, he sniffed on it a bit and barked at Aphmau to get her attention. She went over to see what her dog found, but it was only an empty plate, but something seemed off. Everything in the house looked messy or used, the plate seemed untouch. Aphmau didn't know whether it was a clue or not, but she made sure to note it. She scratched Puma's head before leaving with him and her other dogs to find the Baker of the Chocolate Village before going to look for the other two Villages. It started to rain a bit when Aphmau got to the bakery, she went inside the small building to find a man reading a newspaper, he didn't seem to notice Aphmau or her dogs. She looked down at the desk and saw a bell, she tapped on it that grabbed the baker's attention.
