Shameless!"
Lisa looked at Jennie with an innocent face, "What's wrong with my words? You are my wife, of course I will be attracted to you."
He smiled and continued to hug her tightly while lowering his head around her neck. His voice sounded a little playful as he said in a low voice, "You just went back to take a shower. You still have the fragrance of my usual shower gel. When I hugged you, I couldn't hold it back anymore ~"
"Hooligan! You're already so injured, and yet you're still acting like this. Since when did President Manoban, who was indifferent towards women, become like this!" Jennie laughed and pushed him. "Alright, stop sniffing. My neck is going to itch to death."
"Haha, Aiya, stop smelling! It's so itchy!"
Lisa finally let her go. Jennie laughed for a moment. After calming down, she stared at him with full criticism. "You used to be so serious, but now even in this situation, you can still be playful. Oh yes, is it really okay if we let dad and mom go just like that?"
"They will not dare to do anything to the Manoban Family. If they dare, then that will be a sign of their death. Don't say running away, in fact they will not have a chance to breathe. Right now, they are eager to hide far away from the Manoban Family."
"But mom and dad just told me not to wander around alone in the near future." Jennie frowned.
Lisa took her hand and held it. He squeezed it lightly and said with a smile, "Right now, no one can guarantee that Nancy didn't plan another plan. The accident case has not been resolved, and today, the second perpetrator responsible for the crime suddenly died. In other words, Nancy's people and the Kim Family people might be guarding G City at this time. As long as you stay by my side for the time being, there won't be any problems."
"Alright then. Lisa, I'll go and put the flower first." Jennie pointed to a bunch of flowers that were sent by an unknown person on the table next to her. She stood up to pick up a glass bottle.
After she came back from fetching water, Jennie found Lisa sitting by the bed, trying to get up.
Jennie quickly rushed towards him, placed the bottle aside, and placed her hand on his shoulder. "What are you doing, your wound is still healing! The doctor says you must rest for a week or so, and you cannot get out of bed and walk around without anyone by your side! What if you fall, and the wound reopens again?"
Lisa wanted to get up and take a walk, but seeing her like this, he didn't force it. He only smiled and with her support, he lay back on the bed.
After covering him with a blanket, Jennie sat on the edge of the bed again. "I'm here to keep an eye on you! Now that you're well, you can go home early and rest. You don't have to stay in the hospital all day. Do you like smelling the strong disinfectant smell here every day?"
"Idiot, stop frowning. If you frown any more, you will really get wrinkles. Don't all women fear this?" Lisa couldn't do anything other than laughing. He seemed to be in an extremely good mood as he stroked the space between her eyebrows.
Jennie pursed her lips. "You always say I think a lot. How can I not think a lot if you always make me worry! You are just like kids when they get sick, not listening to other people's words."
Lisa chuckled, "What do you mean? Am I not obedient enough?"
"Being obedient is being obedient, but I still have to make sure you feel safe and obedient without any thoughts of resistance. I even have to give you some sweets to coax you."
"Hmm? Sweet? Where is it?"
Lisa raised his eyebrows.
Jennie glared at him. Suddenly, she bent down and kissed him on the cheek. Then, she sat back down on the bed. With an expression as though nothing had happened, she got up to put the flowers in the glass bottle.
However, Lisa beamed. "Wife, I like this candy."
Jennie slanted her eyes at him and mumbled, "Men, after getting rid of their proper clothes, they are indeed the same."
Lisa had a smile on his face. At this moment, Jennie's phone rang. She picked up the phone and glanced at it. Her heart skipped a beat. She turned around hesitantly and looked at Lisa.
Noticing the change in her expression, Lisa's beautiful eyebrows twitched slightly. "Who's calling?"
"I don't know. It seems that the area number on the number list is from G City, but the number is very unfamiliar."
Jennie said hesitantly as she stared at the number on her phone.
Lisa suspiciously looked at the phone and seemingly deep in thought.
Just then, the phone stopped ringing, and it rang again. Jennie immediately answered the call, "Hello?"
"Excuse me, is this Miss Kim?"
An unfamiliar and aged voice was heard from the other side. It sounds very formal and polite.
Jennie hesitated for a moment before answering, "Hello, yes, this is me."
"Hello, Miss Kim. I am at the cemetery on G City's outskirts. Can I ask if the person buried in the grave, Zhou Chaerin, is your mother? There's something unusual here that I need to tell you."
That person continued, "Recently, our cemetery has been visited by a few strangers. Some people would go to Chaerin's grave at night and say that they were there to pay their respects. We can't get close enough to look, but this situation has been going on for days already."
"Strangers?" Jennie frowned. "What kind of strangers are they? Are they men or women?"
"There are both men and women, wearing black clothes and sunglasses. Their appearance is not clearly visible, but there are two women, around the age of forty or fifty, and some men, all of whom are the same age. They all look like your mother's old friend. By the way, I got your number from the old man who was guarding the grave. He said that he had chatted with you a few years ago."
Seeing Jennie's confused expression, Lisa looked at her for a moment before asking, "What's wrong?"
Jennie snapped out of her confusion and looked at him. Then, she said into the phone, "I understand. Thank you."
"Alright, sorry to bother you, Miss Kim."
After Jennie hung up the phone, she hesitated for a moment before saying, "Lis, I think I should go to G City."
Lisa immediately frowned. "It's not safe for you to go to G City now. What happened?"
"My mother's grave has been visited by some strange strangers recently, and it has been a few days since. Because of the abnormal behavior, the people on duty at the cemetery called me and told me about it. I felt that this was a bit strange. Even though my mother committed suicide when I was four years old, I still have some memories of that time. In my memory, she had no friends, and no one had visited her grave all these years."
Lisa's eyes were calm as he slowly got up. Seeing his actions, Jennie rushed to support him. She placed the pillow behind him and supported him carefully, allowing him to lean back on the pillow.
He thought for a moment and said, "No, you can't go to G City right now."
"But my mother's grave--"
"Since you know that something is off, you cannot act hastily. We don't know which side they are on, and we also don't know whether the call is from the cemetery or not. If someone purposely led you there, with your big belly, how would you save yourself if something bad happened? You should not fly since you returned from the United States. The last time was because of your mother's death anniversary, so I did not stop you, but Jennie, from all angles, going to G City at the present time is too much of a risk."
