"Everything you've done to me all these years, even though I don't understand why you have to do it, I endured it all. Besides, at the time, I wasn't sure if it was my mother who did the wrong thing, so I have reason to bear it, but I never imagined that you, Nancy, would be so cruel."

"Nancy, if I could choose, I would rather never enter the Kim Family and also prefer not to have a father like Jihoon. Since you are little, you were afraid that I would snatch his fatherly love, that's why you're trying your best to make him think that he only had you as his daughter and not have the time to even glance at me. If you didn't use these kinds of methods to keep me away from him, Jihoon would not be so cold to me."

Jennie turned and looked at the sunset outside the window. She seemed to be reminiscing, but at the same time, there was a hint of a smile on her face, as if everything that had happened earlier was just a passing cloud to her.

"So? Are you here to settle an account with me?" Nancy smiled coldly.

"Do I look like I'm here to settle accounts with you?" Jennie chuckled slightly. "Nancy, after everything that had happened, I don't think you should be too proud of yourself anymore. I suddenly remembered the words you said to me back then. We don't look at the past, we don't look at the future, but we look at the present. This is what you said to me before. Today, I will return these words to you. In the end, the person who suffered retribution is not me, but you."

Nancy suddenly stared straight at Jennie. "I truly regret it."

"Regret that I didn't let those people kill you! I am too merciful!"

"You are merciful? Is that how you defined merciful? Haven't you had enough? What? You want to see me suffer for a few more years while living a life worse than death, then you will stop?" Jennie smiled faintly.

Nancy looked at her. "Jennie, I've lost now, but I have not lost to you! If it weren't for Lisa, you would never be able to stand up again in your entire life!"

"If it weren't for Lisa?" Jennie maintained an indifferent smile. "Nancy, if you're not Jihoon's daughter, do you think you can be so arrogant in the last twenty odd years?"

Nancy took a deep breath, unable to speak. She looked at Jennie with an indifferent expression.

"Do you know why I'm here today?" Jennie said softly, "I'm not here to make fun of you. I just want to see you and see how arrogant and fearless you have become. Nancy, don't you really think that you are too absurd by committing suicide. Who are you trying to show? Have you ever thought about how your family is feeling?"

"No matter how selfish Jihoon and Lian are, they are selfless towards you. They gave all their love to you, and because of your problems, they were arrested by the authorities. Because of your selfishness, you ruined everyone's life, including those who raised you. Instead of being grateful for having that kind of parents, you're trying to kill yourself."

"When has anyone entered your eyes? Every word and action of yours is for yourself. You have inculcated this thought in yourself since you were little. No matter whose life you ruin, as long as it gives you a benefit, you wouldn't care about anything else."

"I came here today just to tell you how stupid you are."

"Jennie!" Nancy trembled as she looked at her. "What exactly do you want to do? Who gives you a right to teach me a lesson!"

"This time, when I got off the plane, I didn't have the time to see my mother, and I didn't have the time to see the current situation of Jihoon and Lian. After I heard that you tried to commit suicide, I came straight to see you."

"Do you feel satisfied making your parents become like this? I remember when we were young, whenever Jihoon came back from a business trip, he would always buy a few small gifts, but he didn't specifically bring them to me because I was already useless in his eyes."

"When it was New Year, he gave other children toys to play with, and you hid the little toys he gave you, then cried in front of everyone, saying that I stole them. Every adult in that house believed your lies!"

"Jihoon never wanted to hear my explanation, he would rather believe your words than believe me."

"Actually, Nancy, after all these years, every method you used was very childish, just like the method you taught to Diana. They're all so childish that it's ridiculous. Do you really think you're very smart? How old are you? You are twenty-five years old, and you only knew how to play such childish tricks. Are you really spoiled, or are you really this naive?"

At this point, Jennie stood up and walked to the window. Her back was facing Nancy. "Do you really think I wouldn't know you tried to commit suicide for another purpose?"

Nancy's eyes flickered, but she didn't say anything. She just stared at Jennie's back as if she was looking at a monster, a monster she had never seen before.

In Nancy's world, Jennie was a very weak woman and would have endured everything quietly. Even though she knew that Jennie was very smart, she never thought that she could see through her to this extent.

"Nancy, the people you secretly contacted are all under surveillance. No one can approach this hospital, and no one is allowed to approach you. If you want to reduce your punishment, it's best for you to behave instead of trying to get people to help you secretly. To this day, are you still unrepentant?"

Jennie turned around and looked at her, "No one is born to be a bad person, and everyone who can be heartless and malicious always does it for their own selfish interests, always looking for excuses for them to feel that whoever owes them, deserved those punishments. The Kim Family is gone, how far can you go now without your family?"

Nancy remained silent as she stared at Jennie.

"By the way, have you ever heard something?" Jennie suddenly smiled. "My mother, Zhou Chaerin, is still alive, and a year ago, after the Kim Family was destroyed, the Manoban Family arranged for the Kim Family Residence to be placed under my mother's name. She has lived there for a year now, and the place now belongs only to her."

Nancy's eyes immediately widened as her whole body trembled. She struggled to get up. "You! You!"

Suddenly, as if she couldn't breathe, her whole body twitched hard on the bed. Jennie looked at her before walking to the door. She opened it and looked at the two policewomen, "Call the doctor."

The two policewomen looked at each other in surprise, then turned to look inside. Seeing Nancy's condition, one of them immediately called a doctor.

Five minutes later, a doctor and two nurses came inside and observed Nancy's condition. They gave her sedatives.

Jennie stood by the window, quietly looking in that direction.

At this moment, two people were walking towards her. The person in front was Lisa, followed by a man who looked like a manager from the G City Prison Department. The two were originally chatting, but after entering the ward, Lisa just glanced at the situation on the bed before turning to look at Jennie.

"What happened to her?"

"I'm too harsh with my words." Jennie said calmly. With a calm gaze, she continued in a low voice, "She finally knows my true self."
