Time flew. In the blink of an eye, a year had passed.

On this day, a small four-year-old loli suddenly ran out of the front yard of Manoban Residence and hugged V's legs as soon as he got out of a car. She cried, "Uncle V! Marry me!"

V had just returned from a business trip and was pounced on by Lily even before he entered the door. He was shocked by her words and confused.

Suddenly, Jennie walked out and shouted, "Lily Manoban, what nonsense are you talking about? Hurry up, you have to go to kindergarten today! Grandpa Li's car is ready and your big brother is already waiting inside! Hurry up and eat breakfast."

Lily cried loudly, but there were no tears at all. She pulled on V's pants and said with a wronged face, "Uncle V! Marry me! Mommy once said, unless I grow up and get married, I should go to kindergarten! The aunts and teachers there are not fun, I don't want to go! Just marry me!"

V sighed; he didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He bent down and pinched Lily's chubby, smooth face, "Little thing, let's not talk about whether you're legal to marry, just based on our relationship, we are uncle and niece. If I marry you, that tigress mother of yours will skin me alive!"

"V! No wonder she's been so attached to you these past few months. Look at what you say, don't teach bad things to her!" Jennie's mouth twitched as she looked at him.

She then walked over to Lily and looked at her sternly. "Hurry up and go eat your breakfast!"

Lily pouted. She raised her head to look at Jennie with her big eyes. Then, she turned around and ran back angrily.

Jennie just watched the spoiled little girl. At a glance, she could tell that Lily had returned to the living room and was lying on the couch, feeling all wrong as she waited for the Old Man to come down to pity her.

"This little girl is really getting naughty." V also smiled as he looked in the direction Lily was running.

Jennie rubbed her forehead and sighed, "Last year, she was pretty obedient. This year, we often visit here and her grandparents and great-grandfather pampered her. She has been going to kindergarten for less than half a month, and now she wants to skip school. I really don't know whose temper she follows!"

V immediately raised his eyebrow and chuckled. "I remember you often skipped class when you were young."

Jennie immediately looked at him. "Nonsense! I was often forced to skip class by that ancestor, GD, for poking a beehive!"

"Yeah, you were forced." V nodded while raising his eyebrow meaningfully.

Jennie put her hand on her waist. "Don't talk anymore. You just came back from a business trip, so go inside first. It's too early. The Old Man is listening to the radio in the bedroom. Dad came out for morning practice. Mom went to America two days ago, and Lisa had another important meeting with the government last night. Since he hasn't returned yet, you can go back to your room to clean up. I'll ask Nanny Cheng to prepare breakfast for you."

"Alright." V smiled and didn't say anything else. However, before he went inside, Jennie took one of the bags from his hand and helped him carry it inside.

V's mouth twitched.

Jennie put V's bag aside and walked to the couch in the living room. "Lils, get up. It's already 7.00. If you don't eat now, you'll be late."

V entered and saw her getting up from the couch. Lily jumped off the couch and started going back and forth in the house. No one knows what she's looking for.

"What is she looking for?" V asked.

Jennie also looked at Lily suspiciously as she paced around the house. "I do not know."

However, as if she couldn't find the person, she walked towards Jennie with an angry look on her face. Following Jennie's behavior, Lily put one hand on her waist and asked where her father went.

It looked like this girl was looking for reinforcements.

Jennie didn't answer her question. She just raised her eyebrow and shrugged. She refused to tell her.

"I want to tell dada that you're bullying me!" With a pout on her face, Lily continued to walk around the house reluctantly. Seeing Nanny Cheng walking down the stairs, she ran up to her and asked, "Grandma Cheng, Grandma Cheng! Did you see my dada?"

Nanny Cheng was stunned for a moment and stopped walking. She first looked at Lily's serious face with a smile, then looked at Jennie, who was next to the door, and V, who looked like he was watching a show.

Jennie gave Nanny Cheng a light shake of her head, telling her not to say anything to Lily.

Nanny Cheng wakes up earlier than them every day. She always knew that Lily didn't like going to kindergarten.

Finally, after a leisurely walk around the house, Lily asked Jennie in a loud voice, "Where did your husband go? I guess he doesn't want you anymore. He went to the supermarket to buy a new wife!"

Before Jennie could get angry, before V and Nanny Cheng could burst out laughing, the door behind them suddenly opened. It was unknown when Lisa had returned. As soon as he went inside, he heard Lily's angry screams and words.

He was stunned for a moment and there was a strange look in his eyes.

"Pfftt.." Nanny Cheng couldn't refrain from laughing as she turned towards the door. "Young Master, you're back. I'll go prepare breakfast. In this kitchen, there are only two children's meals. I will prepare what the others have eaten."

Lisa lowered his hand from the door handle and smiled. "What happened?"

V shrugged at him, which meant that he couldn't explain it.

However, Jennie's face darkened as she turned around and looked at him. "I wake up early every day to suffer this for at least an hour. Aren't you supposed to know what exactly had happened?"

Lisa understood immediately, but before he could say anything, Lily happily approached him. "Dada! You're back!"

She ran towards him and hugged his thighs. She then said with a flattering smile, "Dada, did you go to the supermarket to buy a new wife? Why did you take so long?"

Jennie lowered her head and, at the same time, used her fingers to rub her forehead. This gave her a headache.

Lisa smiled and bent down to pick up the increasingly naughty Lily. He kissed her little face lightly. "What excuse do you have this time? Look at how it angers mommy. Hurry up, go apologize to her."
